Plain DHEA?

What benefit does taking plain DHEA from Walgreens have?

What if taken at say, 100 - 200mg sublingually.

I'm not currently doing this or have plans on doing it, I'm just wondering if it would have any benefit at all. I noticed it one day and saw that it is very cheap.

What if I crushed it up and dissolved it in lotion or something?
 
If you are deficient in dhea then you would get a lift in mood and more energy. Without a deficiency, you probabily wouldn't notice much. Transdermal is definitely more bio-available but not sure by how much.
