So, I can't seem to do any variation of the bench press, except pin press that does not involve me hitting the damn columns in the squat rack. Once this happens it throws my balance all off and not to mention the dangers of it. So I decided to try pin presses. The trouble is, I have to do flat bench to do them. I was doing incline, which is easier on my shoulders somewhat and using the swiss bar. Well I am using the swiss bar with these as well and noticed some right shoulder soreness. Any suggestions? I'd love to keep doing these with a neutral grip. Not only are the more convenient given my situation with the squat rack, but they ensure I get the full ROM on each rep. I don't let the bar slam on the pins, I let the bar gentle touch the pins. Also, I was wondering how the pin press compares strength wise to the flat and incline bench.
