PH question

Depends on your goals. Also there is no "assuming they work", they do work. Do some research, it's science.

Assuming they work, I would guess you need to eat even more to benefit? Like maintenance +800 or something like that?

With greater amounts of protein added to your diet

Any particular g\lb ratio recommended? For what it's worth I'll be 38yo 6' ~170lbs at ~8ish% bf Seems like my maintenance is\was around 2800 at 188lbs Was originally thinking I'd plan a diet at around 220P, 35% fat, rest carbs at 3200 but assuming I would go over a bit at dinner (first pwo solid food meal) and adjust from there, but then I was thinking if I used a PH i would probably be able to\need to eat more

Sounds like you've got your diet down pretty well for yourself. If it were me and I was going to cycle a PH, I would shoot for 2+ grams/lb body weight for protein. Since protein synthesis is increased, I would rather give my body too much to maximize gains rather than not enough. If you are worried about elevated liver levels due to excess protein, I wouldn't be, your only going to be consuming that large amount of protein for a short amount of time and once you discontinue, levels will go back to baseline.
