hey, how are you doing? I’m new on here and I’ve been on TRT for 10 years and I’m trying to come off of it and I’ve been using HCT which is working downstairs but my doctor has me on Clomid to try to get the brain working again. My question is it OK to take anastrozole? I felt like earlier this week like my estradiol was high so I took a quarter estriol and I felt better but I just don’t want that interfering with the brain back on. What are your thoughts on it?

Yeah thats fine as long as you don't overdue it. .25mg should be fine as its very potent. It might take some time for you to really come back since you were on for so long but keep getting tested every 8 weeks if you can to see where you're at. How old are you anyway?

Hey, thanks for responding. I’m 53. When I got on TRT I think my level was 290 or something like that. I was pretty overweight and stressed at the time and not sleeping well I’ve lost 50 pounds since then and eat much better not as much stress sleep isn’t the greatest but better
I’m one of those guys that my hematocrit goes through the roof and I end up phlebotomies at least once a month sometimes twice a month and then my ferritin drops. And then I get ferritin infusions once a month And it’s really just been this endless cycle of going to the doctor every two weeks spending three hours waiting for labs to come back and see the doctor and decide what to do. Yeah I’ve been back-and-forth to the hematologist every two weeks for the last nine years Right now I’ve been off the testosterone for five weeks, and was feeling all right with just the hCG but we added the Clomid and I feel like it does something to the estradiol and I’m having a little trouble sleeping on the clomid.

The sides you are feeling are most likely due to the clomid itself as clomid is made up of two isomers and one of them causes all the sides which is why a lot of people opt for enclomiphene instead of clomid but I’m not sure doctors have caught up with this yet. When I got off TRT, I did enclomiphene and a solid natural test stack. I think you would benefit from using a product like inhibit e from SNS stacked with CEL M-Test or M-test stacked with Cloma-Plex both by CEL. Research backed ingredients and I personally always feel a better recovery using the enclomiphene with a natural booster stack instead of just the enclomiphene.

Since you have clomid, I would keep using that and my picks would be to add in M-test and inhibit E.

I dislike using ai’s on PCT because it’s just more drugs with more sides and it’s just too easy to mess up estrogen and feel even worse. Maybe @sns8778 will chime in

Great post and I agree - I would go with M-Test & Inhibit-E or M-Test & Cloma-Plex. Like you said, if he is going to stay on Clomid, I would lean toward M-Test & Inhibit-E.

OK thank you. I will look into it. I’ve been taking the hCG for probably six months now. And I’m pretty sure am producing testosterone so I’m hopeful that I can get back to even if it’s in the lower range but normal testosterone
