Painful PIP feeling worried

This is my second ever cycle, I always pin quads because of the ability to use both hands. Been having terrible shots this cycle in my right quad. Feels like I can’t manage one injection without pain or bleeding but this is only during the pinning not after, left quad however is fantastic. Doesn’t even feel like I’ve pinned. 4 days ago I hit my right and once again got some pain when pushing the oil in and when removing the needle. No pain for the rest of the day. Next day was a bit sore but pushed through my leg workout (heavy squats) while managing to ignore it. The day after I had some bad soreness like someone punched me right in the leg, the pain however was much lower on the quad than the injection site, yesterday it was extremely painful to touch but I pinned my left and worked out with no big issue. This morning I’m noticing some pink discoloration and warmth coming from site of the pain, and some swelling. Still feels like a bruise but I feel it a bit less. No fever like symptoms but it’s really starting to worry me. I have squats again tonight and don’t wanna risk making it worse. Could this be an infection? Saturday is my next pin. Should I go back to left until right is 100%?

I would stick with the left.. No pun intended

Hard to say, sounds like an infection though since your left one is fine. Personally I would pin the left quad and see if the right one stops hurting. If it didn't get better after a few days I would probably see a doc. But I have a feeling it will get better on its own.

I’m gonna need to squat tonight for some triples. Is there anything I can do to avoid making it worse? Or perhaps reduce the pain before going?

Stretching will improve bloodflow and it will heal faster. You have got to rotate sites! Learn how to pin glutes and you won't have this problem. Shoulders and triceps are good for when you are in the situation you're in.

What about massage and foam rolling?

I pin quads too. First couple of pins this happened to both sides for me, warmth and pain lower then the site. And I felt like I got kicked by a mule! Third week and no pip at all. You’ll be fine

This is my fourth week. No previous injection felt like this and my left quad has been pinned a few times and no pain

You’ll know if it gets infected. I’ve had pip that worried me before. You’ll have tons of heat, not just some warmth, and swelling will be ugly. Wait it out until you know for sure. Heroin addicts can inject toilet water in their veins, this is just IM shots. Your body will sort it out. Personally, I won’t touch quads anymore. It’s glutes for the next decade until the scar tissue won’t allow any more. 1/4 the problems than any other site.

I injected a dirty unswabbed rubber stopper piece with floaties in 10 year old gear when I was young. The pip was brutal for 2 weeks and then it got better. If you get the cold sweats or real chills though, ER!

MY GOD!!! This right here though. Warmth and pain sucks but it happens. Red hot at the site, and severe chills and body shivers mean you need some antibiotics ASAP!

Update: I ended up going to the hospital after my leg day yesterday. Was admitted due to an abscess in my quad. Just left the surgery and they drained my quad of the blood and puss that was accumulated. Does anyone in here have experience with recovery time from this? Should I continue to pin on other body parts as to not ruin the cycle? Or should I PCT?

Find s new pinning spot and leave that quad alone for a long time. Start doing gluten and shoulders. I do only shoulders now

Glutes all day long every day. Shoulders are my second favorite but I end up getting scar tissue and lose oil sometimes. It’s weird. My glutes were made to inject oil in. Never a problem, ever...

Don’t. I actually this year, for the first time ever shot a smidge in a vein. It would be a million to one odds that you could shoot DIRECTLY into a vein. More like 10 million to one. I got a head rush and my jaw and chest were slightly tight for 6 minutes. That was it. There’s a couple forums where a few guys mainlined Test. Same thing, weird rush and tight chest. When I was in medic school and nursing school we barely aspirated and used to put a foot of air in IV’s to dissolve the myth that air kills or whatever kills. It doesn’t. If your gear is dirty you’ll get the same antibiotics whether you IM it or IV it. No worries

Damn, I had a feeling it was an abscess but I didn’t mention it because I wasn’t 100% sure and didn’t want to scare you lol

Do any of you guys know the time of recovery for something like this? When can I continue my cycle, when can I get back to squatting?

Dude shoot in your glutes.

This game is all about pain! Sometimes my injections hurt, but it's only for a little then you pull out the needle and your good to go.

Almost always a little blood comes out, sometimes it comes running out and drips on the floor, possibly from scar tissue.

I've been doing it so long it doesn't phase me anymore.

The only time I have lasting pain after injection is from sustanon because all the esters. A little blood will happen, nothing to worry about. Of you hit a vein, you would know.

Seriously man try your glutes

I'm gonna say not infected, give it a week, keeping an eye on it. If it gets worse, see a doc.

Some warmth and swelling has happened to me as well. Pretty freaky but I've injected 100s and 100s of times never an infection.

I've had golf ball lumps that were warm and swollen, but they went away

Lol u would say not infected? Did u miss the part where I’ve been in the hospital for two days so they could drain my abscess?

I hit lats, traps,bi,tri, chest, glutes, and quads. Prop seems to always give me pip i had like a basketball on my ass for a while. I keep sterile gso to cut painful compounds. I also run the pin the part with the oil in it under hot water for a min or 2 and it makes a world of difference like it thins the oil out.. Sometimes it happens when ur not going deep enough. Great site spotinjects.com shows videos on every spot u csn hit

I actually ate my words, injected too low, busted a vein while getting 2.5cc’s of oil in, now I have a nasty knot. Plus my scar tissue is starting to get worse on glutes. Of course, after I say Glutes for Life!

I went into glutes for the first time the day I got back from hospital. Felt sooooo much easier I actually thought I had missed it because it went so smooth, there wasn’t any dense meat feeling lol. But now I have a little bruise like pain where the muscle is no heat, redness or swelling so I know it’s just Virgin muscle. Feels good honestly

I told ya! Shoot glutes that's why they are there lol

This is why I do delts. You can use a tiny pin and its easy peasy. Of course I never do more than 1cc at a time

First time going into left glute and holy cow did I move that needle around a ton. Any tips on how to steady everything out?
It's all in your hands brother. Steady hands and a slow but consistent injection meaning once you start injecting don't stop and try not to push the plunger as hard as you can.

Make sure your calm beforehand, it's a mindset. Your injecting something in you so it's freaky right? Lol. But the steadier you are, the less pain(usually).

Shaky hands make it harder maybe take deep breaths to calm you down while your doing it?

You realize you're blind if you miss the glute. Glutes are the biggest muscle in the human body.

Maybe I completely missed this, but did the hospital ask you about the abscess? How you got it?
