I started using HCG last week, and have noticed that each time I've injected HCG subcutaneously it's been a fairly painful experience. This has me confused, as everything I've read on sub-q shots has led me to believe it should be a painless experience.
I've been using 27g pins for these shots, could this perhaps be a bit too big for painless injections? I've noticed that it stings alot when inserting the pin, and then even moreso when injecting the HCG. It hasn't seemed to make any difference whether or not I change the needle after drawing the HCG from the vial either. This certainly isn't a huge issue, as the stinging sensation subsides after a few minutes, but any insights would be great.
