hey guys just got a quick question here

One day i was just going to pick up a relatively heavy bar and put it back on the stand, i useed very bad posture and just after i lifted it off the ground my friend stopped me and told me to do it like a dead lift and then put it back. so i did. I am very glad he did this because as i lifted i relatively hot pain occured just to the bottom right of my abs, below them.

since then it has been a few weeks, i tried to do relatively light dead lifts and the pain comes back and hurts a lot in the same area, so basicallyt i cant do deadlifts at this given time which is a big hassle!

anyone got any ideas as to what this could be and how i could help it fix itself?

thanks in advance

Sounds like a sports hernia.

Go to a sports doc/ortho and find out for sure before doing any heavy lifting again.

well my first thought when reading the title of the thread was your appendix but since its an injury, sounds like a sports hernia, like what Zir Red said. but we cant know for sure till somebody sees it in person. just dont do deadlifts or anything that aggravates it
