Last week, I was just finishing up my workout, and I thought I would go do one more set of bench press. Well, I just started to pick up the bar, and a pain shot through my right shoulder. I did not have much weight on the bar, I was just going to get a good pump.
I broke this same shoulder and dislocated it playing football in college, and I have had trouble with it from time to time.
Anyway, It has gotten alittle better, but there are still only certain movements that I can do with it or it will hurt like heck. And when I sleep at night, I will have to actually pick my arm up and help it to move.
I cannot really locate where the pain is coming from, a muscle or the joint. I am a week into my cycle, and I do not want to give up on it, but it is really hampering my lifting.
Should I keep on lift and finish out my cycle or just work around it the best I can ?
Anyone have any ideas on what it is that I may have hurt ?
How long before I should go to the Dr. ??
Thanks for any advice
