P-Slin/AP

This is going to sound stupid. But I'm getting P-Slin and AP and was wondering if a pre-workout meal is meat and potatoes hours before lifting, or a deliberate shake/power meal 30-60 minutes pre-workout. And while I'm at it, anyone sip on citruline throughout the day or take >7g pre/intra and see a difference compared to no citruline?

You can do a shake or a meal. You just need to get enough carbs in with whichever one you use. For AP, you need at least 35-40 grams of carbs and with PSlin it's at least 60-100 grams of carbs. For a meal, 90 minutes pre-workout and with a shake, 45 minutes pre-workout.

But what about prework out drinks (Jack3d, Anadraulic Pump, etc)? Won't a shake or meal interfere with uptake of ingredients? I'm guessing the pump from AP or P-Slin makes up for it?

Funny you mention Jacked and Anadraulic Pump. Thats my pre-workout drink, 2 scoops of each plus 5 grams of creatine mono. No problem with uptake and get some insane pumps and great focus.

Take Anabolic Pump (about 15-20 minutes before your pre-workout meal containing up to 60gr of complex carbohydrates) or P-Slin (about 15-20 minutes before your pre-workout meal containing up to 100gr of complex carbohydrates); eat you pre-workout meal; take your Jack3d or other pre-workout product one hour after your pre-workout meal; then workout about 30-45 minutes after your pre-workout supplement.
