P-Mag First Cycle - PCT Help!

Firstly I have stalked these forums quite a lot before I registered, so please do not flame because it is my first post. I have also read a tonne of guides and done a lot of prior research.

This will be my first cycle and I will be running it 50/50/50/50 My reasoning for this is that I do not want to put too much strain on my body and I want to see how I react to the P-Mag. I also am on a tight budget due to an expensive winter.

During the Entire Cycle I will be taking Liv.52, Multivitamins and Creatine (I take creatine anyway)
I have some Jack3d lying around which I was going to use to keep my energy levels high - more reps etc. (if this is a bad idea please say)

I have PCT Assist from CEL, Is this sufficient PCT for my Cycle?
What else would you recommend? (I am on a tight budget)
I have tried looking for Nolvadex online but it seems to be hugely overpriced and its also hard to tell whether the website is legitimate or not.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Jimmy.

ManBeast will be here soon :)

1) Read the thread in my sig. It has PCT info that is invaluable, and there is a post by mattrag with info on how to locate a reputable source for research chemical SERMs:

2) If you truly value your nuts, a SERM is not overpriced.

3) Beyond any of that. Age? Stats (ht/wt)? Training History?

P.S. Thanks Aaron :D

Thanks Manbeast for the helpful response :)

I'll get reading those now, pretty sure I've skim read them once or twice. I do value my nuts, however is a SERM such as nolvadex required as I am using such low doses of P-Mag?

My Age is 21
Stats: Height 5ft 10"
Weight: 160 pounds
I have virtually zero body fat, I'm an ectomorph putting on weight seems like an impossibility.
I have been training for the last year developing my workouts etc.

Ok, before hopping on anabolics, give us an example of your "normal" day of eating (so we can see just how many calories you are getting and from what sources), and your workouts (in some detail, split, reps range, sets) to make sure you aren't overtraining. Lets see if we can pack some mass onto that frame naturally so that when you do hop on an anabolic, it will be that much more impressive.

Normal day I have around 5 meals - I aim for 3000+ calories each day, 150g of protein. I dont eat junk food/chocolate etc. I eat a lot of chicken, tuna, eggs and pasta.

I workout 4-5 days a week normally for an hour to and hour and a half each time,
Max bench is about 200lbs
My legs are lacking (my gym virtually has nothing for legs) Havn't done a one rep max for squat yet, I will do when im next there.

I read your thread about PCT, I do think the added nolva will help sustain my gains and also save my balls :L However its finding a trusted source im struggling with.

You do realize I probably have a much slower metabolism than you, and I maintain at 2,500 calories. You need to bump those calories to 4,000 or so before you give up on being natural. If you can't eat enough to grow naturally, you won't be able to grow to the max on a cycle, nor will you be able to hold the gains. Also, how many total sets per body part are you doing in general? You really only need squats and/or deadlifts for massive leg growth as well. What rep range are you training in?

It really depends on what im doing on the day, I can reach 4k calories some days, others less. I do about 3-4 sets on each exercise and for example for chest i'd do 4 excercises doing reps of 10-8-5-3 increasing in weight as the reps lower. I'm probably going to do a month more solid training/nutrition before I start the P-Mag, I've got everything ready to start, just need to reach a point where I feel comfortable starting.

How long have you been doing that style of routine? Your body might need a shock to get growing again.

Not very long, possibly a month maybe two. Seems to be giving me some strength increases. The reasoning for the desire to do P-MAG was the bulking, if I could put 10-15lbs of muscle on it would be very noticeable.

Does my Assists/pct look sufficient though?

If you are 5'10" and 160lbs and you are eating 4000 calories you are a hummingbird. If you arent gaining on that many calories you probably are not counting correctly. On top of this if you truly cant gain on 4000 calories then 4500 calories is the way to go. I have one friend from college who consumed 5000 calories a day and didnt gain an ounce she was 120lbs at that diet. There was a picture of her on the cover of time magazine saying "Young runner checking her time" she was actaully trying to see if the gym was still open, moral of the story is if your metabolism is outlandishly high then you need to eat an outlandish amount of food.

On top of this you need to be training for atleast 6 months with high intensity to start anabolics. Muscles are made in the kitchen, gym and bed, not the lab.

Appreciate your response, some days I do reach 4000 calories however a normal day is between 3000-3500. I have a super high metabolism. I have got my eating pretty much sorted now, I am gaining slowly at the gym however the P-Mag would really up my game.
Anyway I'm already decided on doing the P-Mag as I have bought everything except the Nolva so far. Might hold off another month though so I can pile on the calories etc.

If you would like I can send you an intense workout program that you could run for 3 months then run p-mag just so you get the most bang for your buck.

Pssst gerbil, your inbox is full bro.

Aside from your diet which is extremely important, evaluate your training. Not just sets and reps but how you lift. Training tempo is very important as well as rep range. If you truly want size and to gain weight then you need to live in that 8-12 rep range. While doing sets don't just through the weights up and let them drop. Explode on the lift, whatever it is, and let it down slow like 4-5 seconds down. Makes all the difference in the world. Try that as well as the other suggestions the other guys made; it's sound advice. Something you'll hear over and over again is that this is not a sprint, but a lifetime marathon. Experiment and discover what kind of training works for you. One year is not enough to find that out. Matter of fact, your right at the point where the fast easy gains that new trainees experience start to slow down. I would try implementing some of the suggestions for a couple of months to see what you get. You really do want to squeeze out as much natural growth before going on AAS.

One more thing to consider is that you truly may not be done growing naturally. Meaning, your bones may not be finished growing and the growth plates may not have closed yet. If you take AAS forget ANY further growth. Good luck whatever you decide.

Training Intensity is very important, but diet needs to a high priority as well because intense lifting will further increase your metabolism.
