Overtraining

Would the hormones be plummeted if in a real overtrained state? I don't think they can be that out of wack based on my current strength

They're probably not that out of wack. Maybe just cortisol if I had to guess.

You're getting great advice here. Take it one step at a time. Relax and deload for one week, then reevaluate.

Also keep in mind, a Deload isn’t complete bed rest. Maintenance calories with your protein intake maintained, and decreased training volume, isn’t going to result in a complete loss of strength and muscle. Your body will recuperate, and it’s possible you lose little-to-nothing at all.
If the only thing decreased in a deload week is volume, and sets are to rpe8 or 9, then it's likely still enough stimulation for at least mild progression, correct?

Sounds like you took a spiked supplement, and now the crashing 😑

Been at the gym 20+ years, and only seen people hit big numbers who are on the gas. Unless train for powerlifting.

Esp all lifts, I got friends who can bench 180kgs easy but their squat, and deadlift suck ass.

When I see someone's lifts climb across the board, it's 99% always the gas. When you see changes in a body over 3 months that takes a real natty 2 years that's the gas.

Without more information, it's difficult to even say what you're experiencing.

I know some of Australia's top naturals, some in their late 30s winning nationals and everything is consistent.

The fact you dropped 30% strength, that screams you were on something and probably didn't do a PCT but are loading yourself with natty supplements.

Doesn't add up, sorry!

Diet is a huge factor in strength, but you claim everything is nailed so honestly it doesn't leave much much.

New account aswell, surprised no one else has mentioned it 🤷
