Out of these various TRT protocols, which is best?

100mg Test E/.5mg arimidex Monday
250ius HCG/.5mg arimidex Friday

or

50mg Test E/.5mg arimidex/125ius HCG Monday
Repeat above on Thursday
(I'm not quite sure about the HCG dosage on this protocol)

I was considering reducing to .25arimidex each dose but I'd rather be safe then sorry (at least until I get my first lab back).

With the first protocol, I was reading that the HCG given 3 days prior to next T injection can prevent the dip in exogeneous test.

I'm leaning toward the second protocol, but I'm not sure if 125ius of HCG will do much. Should I inject 250ius of HCG on the first 50mg T injection?

Odd question but did your doctor put you on an AI? at that dose mine did not and no estrogen sides for me at 100 a week.
 
I prefer the smaller, more frequent injections. As posted above, I'd be VERY surprised if you ran into E2 issues with 50mg 2x/week.

At a peak total test of ~750, I've never had E2 >23.
 
Ah yes, the 'let's throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see if anything sticks' approach to trt.

No. I am adding it at my own discretion and plan on altering the dose based on my first lab results. My first test (no TRT) came back TT 454 and E2 28. My Father's doc has him on 100mg test cyp a week and .5mg arimidex 2x week. It's more out of fear as well, since I've already had one gyno surgery (not related to AAS).

Ok. Thanks. Maybe I'll start with .25 2x/week and adjust/drop from there.

How do you feel about the HCG dosage/frequency on 100-125mg Test/Week?
 
I can't speak to the HCG, as it was never going to be part of my protocol. I've got 6 kids, so shutdown/potency was never a consideration.

I doubt you'll need the AI.
 
I would do the HCG the two days before your Test injection. Per "John Crisler HCGupdate.doc" google it and follow it. He is a great TRT doc.
 
50mg e3.5d and I almost guarantee you won't need any AI or hcg. People make this too complicated.
