Hello

I started experiencing a thumping or engine noise in my right ear, after some research it looks like it called Tinnitus but am not sure. Anyone has experienced this. I have been on Ostarine for 2 weeks now

Thx

Possibly a coincidence that tinnitus has developed after 2 weeks of ostarine.

Has it increased during this period? Have you been exposed to loud noises or music lately? Do you crank up the headphones?

Tinnitus is caused by exposure to loud noises for long period of times, and it sounds like a constant ringing bell not an engine revving. It would definitely not be caused by some research chems. Take it from a guy who has had it since 2005 in both ears.

This is the second person posting about this within the last day or 2. I will officially bestow upon it the title of Osta-nitus

Osta-nitus still has a nice "ring" to it

Tinnitus can vary from person to person. It can have various characteristics.

Source: I experience tinnitus and it does not sound like a ringing bell.

I just started experiencing it today. No exposure to loud noise, music or headphones

1 post since you joined and this is what you decided to post. And you have diagnosed documented tinnitus? I ask cause mine is, from years of Combat.

In my post i said "looks like but am not sure" thats why am asking. If i knew exactly what it was i would not be posting about it.

I was qouting the other guy not you. But if you think you are having symptoms of it I would say go see an audiologist

And mine is from years of being an F-16 maintainer.

This post was relevant to something that affects me, so I decided to throw my two cents in.

Actually tinnitus can be caused by certain ototoxic compounds as well (I guess I can't post links yet)...I'm going to go ahead and guess that research compounds haven't been studied for this potential side effect. Personally I've been dealing with mine for ~ 6 years, and it sounds more like a low hissing/static'y noise, but it most likely was caused by a lifetime of loud noise/concerts and getting hit in the head from ~ 20 years in combat sports. In my case I was fine one day, next day it was there and never left.

Indeed it is caused by ototoxic substances such as certain antibiotics, antidepressants and even statins.

Mine suddenly appeared two weeks into a Rad cycle. I initially blamed the SARM because of a few other anecdotal occurrences of the same on some forums. I later learned of a study citing this effect from Lipitor. I had been taking Lipitor for years but increased the dose for several months prior as well as listening to iPhone music for years turned up loud. (I also contacted someone who was using the same Rad source as mine with no such effect). Long story short, I concluded that my tinnitus was the culmination of the statin, aging (I’m over 50) and lots of loud music.

Anabolic or Sarm-related tinnitus seems to be a result of increased blood pressure exasperating the sound from wax build up (so it sounds like a pulse or has a rhythm whereas tinnitus from hearing loss is a constant hiss or whine.

If anyone on this site know of any supplements to help deal with it I’d be grateful for a PM or a post here. Personally, zinc as well as CBD (cannabis oil) helps a bit (does not lower sound but makes me not notice as much). Dreadful stuff - this tinnitus. Protect your hearing fellas.

You are describing symptoms similar to tinnitus. Tinnitus is a condition that can be caused by several things, including ear, neck, and heart problems. Basically, tinnitus is a subjective sensation of ringing or noise in the ears. You may have symptoms similar to those described in this article.
If you are experiencing tinnitus, see your Invalid Link Removed. See your general practitioner if you have other symptoms (hearing loss, ear pain, ear infections). But I highly recommend a visit to a tinnitus specialist. This will be the best solution.

Hey man, this thread is almost 4 years old. I doubt the OP is following, but hey at least you was trying to help.
