Ostarine and muscle reconditioning after spondyloarthritis

Good evening everyone,
I am writing to ask for advice/help.
I am 40 years old (1.90 m/65 kg) and was diagnosed with spondyloarthritis three years ago (the symptoms date back 10 years) and am now being treated with a biological drug. The inflammatory markers are currently under control, but I continue to experience pain and inflammation in certain parts of my body (elbows, wrists, trapezius, plantar fascia). The cause is almost certainly my poor muscle condition (10 years of inactivity, except for walking and stretching). I am unable to maintain any kind of micro-training program because it causes me pain and inflammation. I have tried everything, including swimming and various therapies (ultrasound, shock waves, etc.). Nothing has worked.

Now I was wondering if a few weeks with Ostarine could give me that little bit of muscle improvement so that I can continue my reconditioning without any problems (I hope).

With this in mind, do you have any good brands of supplements, recommended dosage, and side effects I should be aware of (intestinal? emotional?).

Another thing is that I live in Italy and not in the UK or US, so I need to know if an order would arrive without any problems.

Thank you.

I'd look into fish oil, curcumin, and vit D. As far as training, you don't need to go crazy, just start by walking, as slow and short as you need it to be, and increase gradually. Later you could try swimming or cycling, but regardless, bloodflow is key.

I have already tried all the “traditional” supplements. To no avail.

Were you taking 2gr EPA/DHA? What form of curcumin and how much?

Nothing is going to eliminate all pain or discomfort from the process of becoming fitter, unfortunately, and you'd need to stick with the supplements at the right dosage for an extended period, while you begin walking or swimming.

Curcumin phytosome. 500 mg per day.
And fish oil, I went from 1.5 to 2.5 grams.

The point is to get past the initial plateau. My muscles are completely debilitated. I've tried almost 10 different physical therapists to come up with an increasingly lighter program (even in terms of increasing the workload), but it's not working. There comes a point when some areas become inflamed and I have to stop for days/weeks, and I'm back to square one.

The temperature of the pool water, it may seem absurd, but it causes me problems.
I walk, yes. But that's the only thing I do. It gets me nowhere. I need something to act as a “flywheel,” if you know what I mean.

Any advice on ostarine? At least which is the best product.

Ostarine is absolute garbage and taking anything suppressive like Ostarine will some require some form of PCT. Given your particular (complex) situation, your natural levels may never come back. Making things much worse for you.

If your thinking about suppressing your natural testosterone and possibly causing way more issues than you already have, talk to your doctor first. Yes, maybe your testosterone is very low and you would function better in the mid to higher range. If your and your Doctor find this yo be the case and raising it would not hurt your situation, then they would put you on TRT. Alternatively you could try a natural test booster like Competitive Edge Labs M-Test (probably the best on the market) and see if that helps. If will not suppress your natural hormones or require any PCT.

All curcumin is not the same. Was it Meriva curcumin? Regardless, 500mg is not much, in general you could double or quadruple the dose (I'm not your dr, so ask first). It's not Advil, you need to take it for an extended period.

Standard fish oil caps are generally 1 gram of fish oil, which has 180mg/120mg DHA/EPA per cap. You want 2gr of DHA/EPA, so with those standard concentration caps, you'd need 6-7 caps a day to reach 2gr DHA/EPA. Were you taking 6-7 caps? And also you'd need to take it for an extended period.

Ostarine is not what you need, that's 100% sure. If you want to make workouts easier, something like SNS Rev02 can make cardio easier, or something like SNS ATP Elite can help with strength. You could also take both. I'd recommend Rev02 first.

I'd also look into PEA:

And either taking 3-4 of these daily:

or 2-3 of these:

With your docs approval, of course.
