Organic Chemistry

ochem

Just wondering did ochem make more sense to you if you understtod what atom or molecular structures, in the molecule, was the most electronegative?

It did for me but I was in a crash course.

I actually liked organic as a ChE. It made me think in a bit of a different way.

I do use it some - I work as a process engineer for a steam cracker/olefins plant (whatever you want to call it). It helps when I have to work with the PhD chemists to identify what is causing fouling (among other tasks).

Sweet deal boss, I work as a process engineer designing Hydrogen recovery units for Ammonia Purge Plants and Gas Refineries, most of the time at refineries we take the stream off the Hydrocracker and purify the hydrogen to use in the desulpherization process. I didn't dislike OChem it was just difficult for me, as I'm a much more hands on kind of person.
