Optimum Variety Pack - 16 Flavors!

Cruising around Nutraplanet the other day, I found this:

Of course, I had to buy one!

I think this is a great idea for ON: their protein is IMO one of the best tasting & most respectably put together, but I would almost certainly never have spent the money to buy a big tub of one unknown flavor, no matter HOW curious I was. With this pack, I get A FULL SERVING (unlike some sample packs) of each flavor for $1.12.

Near as I can tell, each of these is a "Limited-Edition" flavor - which I guess means they won't make more of them unless people buy lots; sensible, but this pack really markets the flavors at a low price per taste, which is not just sensible, it's smart.

So far, I've only tried one flavor: Caramel Toffee Fudge - it's good. An occasional thing for me, I think, but a welcome bit of variety nonetheless. If the other flavors are agreeable (I only expect trouble from the strawberries) this variety pack will be something I'll keep stocked in my pantry for as long as it's available.

Kudos to Stryder for adding these to his collection!

yeah, i have this sampler from ON myself. i've only made it through maybe 1/4 of them so far though.
i thought the strawberries and banana & cookies and cream were both very good.

Thats interesting. Wonder if they reformulated the C&C flavor.

From the original C&C flavor that came out, it has been reformulated. I'd say it was about 2 years ago. It's a pretty solid flavor now, and part of the reason why we came out with this was to let people try stuff they normally would not.

i love ON protein.
but man has the price of whey increased over the past yr.
just a little over a yr ago i remember getting 10lb of ON for $50.
now it's $80

You're correct Hank, the price of Whey has gone up for every company who sells Whey. I'm sure you've noticed the price of dairy products go up too. Don't know when or if that will ever change, but we are trying our best to come up with alternative products to help people with fixed budget. We've come out with a lot of new products for that reason.

I love the variety pack idea and will probably try this out. The only thing is while strawberry-banana might be a great flavor taking it daily quickly wears on me. This is why I stick with vanilla as I can add other flavors easily. I just wish there was a more viable way to have a vareity pack of flavors.

Vanilla is my go-to flavor, and for the same reason; however, I think this variety pack is a fine way to augment my flavor choices: the flavors I typically add to my shakes are all fruit flavors; at least 12 of the 16 pack flavors would never *be* in my pantry if it weren't for this sampler.
