opinions on a workout i built

Clean pulls and high pulls use the same grip. The difference is that a clean pull ends with a shrug and elbows straight whereas the high pull ends with the elbows bent and the bar traveling to the upper abdomen. In neither case should you be performing an upright row with the bar.

Difference:

Clean pull: Invalid Link Removed

Clean high pull: Invalid Link Removed

To answer your question, there shouldn't be any issue with impingement.
 
yeah those are not a upright row, which i think is what he was referring too? IDK i dont see anything about a high pull or clean pull in my whole thread...and i def dropped upright rows real quick, i do high rows on a machine with a cable? i lean back at a 45 degree angle and pull to my sternum. lol
