I met a bodybuilder off Facebook and we started following each other on IG. This was when IG first started and people were beginning to promote their bs training stuff.
One day he asked me for a before and after pic so he could post it on his page. He said that he wanted to get me more followers and I thought, "oh, that's so cool of him!"
Little did I fcukin know, he posted my pic to promote his bs and took all the credit for my hard work! (I met him after my weight loss) I saw people asking him how he helped me and he told them how he planned my meals and workouts. I couldn't believe his effn a**!!!!
Anyways, no I wouldn't hire someone online. What they can teach me, I can research on my own. My cousin hired an online coach and he simply sent her everything that I told her. He sent her a workout and meal template that was super basic (sh*t you can find online), stuck with it for 2 weeks, could hardly get a hold of the guy, and $150 down the drain. ?
I have yet to see a diligent, professional personal trainer in my life thus far so the answer is no. I think anything you need to know can be found online but I also realize people are too lazy to do their own research so I'm sure they come in handy. I try not to listen in to the advice I hear trainers giving but I can't help it and the advice they give just sucks. I figure they just scroll through BB.com or their forums for client advice
