Omega 3 supplementation

I'd like to start supplementing Omega 3s during my next cycle. What's the optimal dose?

I read online it can be a minimum of 250 mg to 3000 mg. I am also seeing areas where it says some people might require more mg than others. I am guessing 3000 mg is the max.

Basic question. How does omega oils benefit a bodybuilder? Something other than “it improves overall vitality”
