How long will the contest go on?
I haven't gone to max for a long time (probably last time was in the army). Usually just do 10-20 with narrow position and slow movement and call that good enough.
I have to get some days to practice and then rest some to be in peak condition for the attempt :D

Okay fair enough. Let's make this a 2 week challenge. The prize is bigger this round, so it's more than justified. OP adjusted with extended end date.

Have 50 on vid but shoot two weeks I should be able to add 10-20 more. (I hope) lol
 
Sheesh. You're a beast, DonaldPump! I'd enter, but looks like I'm already toast! I did 94 today but that was across 5 rounds of workout. Doubt I could even come close to 50 in a row!

Not being a dick I promise.

I do xfit 4 days a week and our coach is a nazi with reps, especially in the competitions. Also I think I can do a ton more without chest to ground. He makes us hand release at the bottom to really make them suck lol

It's not a critique. It was a observation of rules..

I will be submitting mine soon enough don't worry. But my chest to ground # will be different from my 90 degree #. I need to know what I am doing going forward. Rules are rules, and no offense.

Agreegious. I've been doing mine by breaking 90 but will adjust as well if tits to ground is the standard.
 
Good points are being made here. justhere4comm, while I am extremely appreciative of your submission, I did technically make the rule. Would you be willing to go for a round two chest to floor? Feel free to eat a tub of Beta alanine. You did pave the road for vids, man. Let's keep it steamy in here :D.

yea, and um, just for the record I love you jayo84 but THIS AINT CROSSFIT lol
 
Now I gotta try this just to see what I can do. I use pushup stands, so I've never truly done chest to floor, although I believe I'm getting a similar range...

Or possibly deeper. Stands allow you to get a bigger stretch.

I don't have much chest so compared to some of you big m"fers I am at a disadvantage for ROM! :P
 
I'm with justhere4comm as well. Us big boys need a modifier to offset the fact that we're lifting way more weight every rep! :D

I think 1 of my pushups should equal approx 54 of jayo84 and DonaldPump's pushups. Fair?

Hahaha. Maybe 30! I see some big dudes Bench and the bar moves like 3 inches I swear lol
