i take one complete off day a week fron training/cardio. i am always a cranky bitch on that day , i cant get along with anyone, i usually just go do yardwork or read in my free time.
why do you think that is ?
I get like that when Im "on", I feel Im wasting my goodies if Im not in the gym (more of a mental thing than physical). Who knows brother, maybe you're addicited.
good point pogue , my job requires lots of patience and lots of explaining things to people who should know them already or not be near a car, and i have limited patience anyway. so i do tend to build up agression.

well, i'm not quite that bad but i do get a little cranky when i take a day off. whats helped me is to remind myself i need that day off to grow and recover....and always when i return to the gym i'm ready to go....
i believe im in the minority as fas as off days go. i listent to my body whether to take a day off, just do cardio, or lift. this averages out to having a day off every 4-5 days. Sage
