I go to cafes out to eat amazing more I see everyone at the table all are on texting etc. ignoring one another not interacting communicating with each other it is if no matter they are with always must know what is going on at ...
but you know what I think if they are with those they texting etc. they will be ignoring them then trying to keep up now with people they with previous.
So real human interactions as people are we meant truly to communicate this way how intrinsically will this in the long run negative effect relationships and the psyche.

Its so true...its a shame we dont live in an enlightened society...not that there arent enlightened people here, but the ones in control (and so many of us are deceived/stranded to support) do not harness technology to enrichen people's lives in a more powerful and positive way.
If you havent, you should look into the history of Nikola Tesla (the guy we can thank for our electricity) and how he wanted to supply the world with free and unlimited energy. This is something that addresses your concern's, as well as most of us are concerned about on how the cost of living has skyrocketed.

This is partly what I mean by having a complete change in the type of civilization we live in. I remember just a short time ago we would all sit at a restaurant and be forced to cure our boredom by engaging in a dialogue...The quality of these discussions have been deteriorating with constant texting, web browsing, etc.....wait and see how much we will change over the next couple of decades.
Im guilty of this too, but Im trying to keep up with the modern times and indulge in technology because of fear of being left behind (we see examples of this today.) The key is to try to strike a balance I guess, I dunno.

if you were to study the history of the last few years of the great civilizations of the past...you would find many people that went along with things they knew were wrong, just to fit in...they went away from the things that had made them great...probably called those things that had made them great old school and out of date...they were just trying to keep up with modern ways, affraid of being left behind!!!
i have found in my 55 years that doing what is popular is often times not doing what i know is right...doing right is not always easy, many times there is a price to pay, sometimes that price may be heavy...but at the end of the day doing what you think to be right, even though you might lose out on some things is what defines character...while monetary loss may seem a heavy burden, thoughout history there have been women and men willing to give their lives for what they believe is right.

He not only extended the Patriot act over and over again, but he signed an executive order that allows the military to confiscate all natural resources, kick your door down and dwell in your home and force us domestic citizens to labor under the pretext of "national security." All this which was signed by him on New Years Eve while people going out drinking and partying.

unfortunately companies think that money is the product of a good business and our government is being ran that way. if we could get our country back into the belief that the product of a good business is a great product and the reward for having a great product is money we would be in a much better position to succeed.

I would not care less if Obama was "black" or whatever acceptable alternative term one may wish to use.
I would not care less if Obama was "white", or "caucasion", "cracker", "honkey", "wood" or any acceptable alternative term one may wish to use.
It makes NO DIFFERENCE to me. My concern is about ideology, credibility and integrity - the latter two I assess President Soetoro to be intentionally deficient in.
The real sadness, is that many who object to President Soetoro are labeled "racist", as if that is the reason they object to him.
