There is some good info in this link by the New York Times...you can actually call for a quote if you want to get yourself on insurance, or even mail it in.
In the meantime, you can also try enrolling by telephone, at 1-800-318-2596, or you can print out a paper form at healthcare.gov and apply by mail.

New York doctors are treating ObamaCare like the plague, a new survey reveals.
A poll conducted by the New York State Medical Society finds that 44 percent of MDs said they are not participating in the nation’s new health-care plan.
Another 33 percent say they’re still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers.
Only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they’re taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.
“This is so poorly designed that a lot of doctors are afraid to participate,” said Dr. Sam Unterricht, president of the 29,000-member organization. “There’s a lot of resistance. Doctors don’t know what they’re going to get paid.”

Yes, records now verify that President Soetoro knew in 2010 that people wold not necessarily be able to keep their existing healthcare.

Its a big mess...and a big lie. Obama campaigned over and over again back in the day in 09 that you can keep your doc and insurance if you like it.
Anyways...its going to both help and hurt people...the system before wasnt great either, its been on a decline for decades.
I know personally Im just going to try to play the game for myself and my family.
I dont like the banking system, I still use it.
I dont like the education system, I would still send my kids there if I have to.
Play the game if you can and make the most of it, if your not the one thats hurt of course. In the meantime keep fighting to repeal it.

The only problem that I have with it is that it is a lie being forced upon the people! Its not optional like all the other systems. The old system sucked but if you didnt want health care and you got hurt or you got sick, should have thought ahead. Now many people who already thought ahead and or were happy with what they had are loosing it for the so called greater good. Some of these people even voted for this reform on the pretense that the president was being truthful when he said that you could keep your plan and your doc and now we find out that was one big lie. I dont understand why reform meant messing with everyone. Why couldnt reform simply mean that insurance companies had to accept people with pre existing conditions and putting into play one generalized "affordable blanket health care plan" that people could sign up for. Why does this new plan force such a shift that millions of people loose what they have?
I am not even being affected buy it as my company has and will continue to ( to my knowable) cover all my health care needs for free and all I need to do is pay a co pay when I go in. I am upset from the stand point that we are getting another BS tax and law force fed to us and the law, now that its being enacted, isnt what was presented to us. It's a Flat Out Lie !

That is all we can do make the best of a bad situation. I wish I was better versed in the constitution, there has to be a stipulation about laws and acts pasted on false pretenses.
I sure hope that my company will shock you bigt. I have faith though that the health care that we are provided today will be provided years from now. I do fear though that if one day I am unemployed I may be tossed into the financial pit that is "affordable health care"

On a separate note, how can Bill Clinton lie about smoking pot and getting a BJ, hurting probably only a hand full of people, and have a mass out cry for him to be recalled? Where as Mr. Obama can lie about people having the ability to keep their health insurance and not having a rate change, displacing millions, and there is zero talk of him being ousted?

It also was one of the smartest. He basically rewrote the book on how to campaign. His administration was the first to capitalize on the social media phenomenon and use it to their advantage. he may have bought votes but he reached out to all the stupid people out there who think in 160 characters or less and got them to believe in the idea of change, the sad fact though is that they have no idea what kind of change they were promoting with their votes

Well...my wife just came home. She told me that our coverage is no longer going to continue, and that we have to upgrade to another coverage, but its still through her job. Because of Obamacare we no longer have the policy that we liked. Cant believe I went through the day seeing about this on the news, and it happened to us as well.

We had this nice little policy that protected us in the event something financially catastrophic happened. Outside of that we had no problem paying cash for visits, or if we have a bill that was a couple thousand we just pay it off no problem.
It was called supersaver or something like that. Looks like Obamacare doesnt want people buying real insurance to protect yourself in a real event. Instead they force you into a mandatory corporate health system buy in if I can best describe it, not insurance.

And you, now spending more, are going to be "helping" all those people who are going to get health insurance for next to nothing. Its unbelievable! You had a perfectly good plan that suited you and your wife just fine. I can only imagine the impact this is going to have on the economy. Millions of people who are now going to have to shell out an extra 100-200, 500 dollars a month for coverage they either dont want or dont need, thats money that that they could have spent on a new car, upgrading their house, a vacation, savings for their child's college fund, any number of things that would have helped this country. And the government tries to spin it like you are going to be getting some huge tax break, again I call BS! Spending $3000 extra to get back $300 sounds like a hell of a deal!

i went retro and got out my 'magic 8 ball'....the prediction is that obamacare will fail and company's like your's who still pay for employee healthcare will ask themselves...why......why should we pay healthcare benefits when most of our competitors aren't????

Well for them to pay for it you either have to be in management or work for them for three years. it is still a basic plan with a high deducible but its free. My company does a few things to promote employee retention I may not have an exciting job but the pay is decent the bs is low and the company is ran buy people who actually care about its employees, its customers and the community it has a presence in. That is a few of the reasons it survived the recession and many of our competitors didn’t

Why just think, if President Soetoro knew in 2010 that you could not keep your health care and doctor but kept that little secret to himself, well that wouldn’t be very transparent, would it?

It is that quote that makes me mad about this situation. If he would have came out and said "look we are going to shake things up bigtime!" I would have said well at least I didnt vote for this. But he did it under the pretense that it was just going to be another option for those who already benefits but wanted something different and a forced but inexpensive necessity for those that didnt have insurance, couldnt afford it, or were refused coverage by the insurance companies.
