I got a salivory hormone test back the other day and it said my Cortisole was normal, yet my DHEA was very low. Worth noting is DHEA was normal on blood testing.
Any ideas what this might mean?
One of my doctors reckons I actually do probably have an adrenal problem because my liver may not be excreting the cortisol, hence the normal level, but I might not actually producing enough, so salivery or blood testing is very hard to tell if you are producing enough or not - of anything really. I wonder if this is where urine testing comes in handy.
