NorCal QUAKE !

Ok .... not so great news :( Stitches came out last night but..... only about half of the incision healed ... the other half had some skin dieback into the stitch area so it wasn't held closed as effectively as it could've been. So .... no new stitches but its bandaged and in a splint again for a while longer and I am gonna have a nasty scar. Frankly I don't give a sh*t about the scar, I just want full range of motion back so I can get back to heavy lifting .... I really really miss heavy deadlifts.

Despite all this I wrapped it up extra tight and took my heaping scoop of Quake about 10 min ago. Gonna go hit it as hard as possible right now. No legs today...they need a day off since they've been getting more attention than usual. Gonna do chest, shoulders and attempt some BB Bent Rows to hit my back for the first time in 10 days. Looks like another week before I can do deads again :(

Dang man, that's not cool! Sorry to hear this.

You're a late lifter... Quake doesn't inhibit your sleep?

I generally lift from about 8:30 - 9:45 or 10pm .... I rarely go to sleep before 2 or 3am so it has not been an issue. When I was working as an Account Manager for a large commercial company things were different ..... I lifted at 4:30 in the afternoon. I prefer the night workout schedule.

how did the finger hold up?

It did ok .... still can't do any pulling with overhand grip. Managed some Yates rows with 145lb but even that was hard on the right hand grip. I will post my workout from last night in a few

Get some wrist straps. That should help a bit.

I see. I workout at 630-8pm and quakes been keeping me up :/

Sorry to hear that... I've had similar issues with other PWO products but not Quake.
Currently I am unemployed .... and hating it. The ONLY upside has been more flexibility with my workout schedule ..... other than that it sucks bigtime. :( This is the first time I have been unemployed since I started working at around 16yrs old!! I am desperately trying to make a career change to get into the fitness/supplement industry in one way or another. I have extensive writing experience and at one time was considering that as my career so I have been really trying to break into the field along that avenue. Not easy in this F'd up job market to say the least.

I'm hoping this isn't gonna go one much more than another week. Once the cut is fully healed I can put pressure on it and get a better grip on the bar.

Ok folks .... here's last nights workout. Once again Quake is the sh*t!!! Keeping me motivated and focused to do whatever possible to get a solid workout in despite the injury. Scoop and a half (heaping scoop protocol ;) ) and I was ready to toss around some iron. Really felt that focus driving the mind-muscle connection with maximum efficiency during this session. Seems like some of the effects of Quake are cumulative .... building up intensity and effect over time. The thermo effect is in full swing now! The focus and endurance keep getting better. Love this stuff !

Still loving Quake ?

Oh Yeah! Just been too busy with the Holiday to get much computer time ..... I did not miss any workouts though! I have 3 to post in my log and will be doing that today. Finger is still partially wrapped up but I am slowly able to do more and lift heavier. Should be totally healed in another week or less.

Nice glad to here your healing up...

Ok. Been away from the laptop for a while .... Holiday chaos. Didn't miss a single workout though and DID NOT eat any candy!!!! That was a tough one but I am trying to cut after a long winter bulk so no sugar .....
Got 3 workouts in that I will post now. Quake is still keeping me going and focused. In the past I became "used to" or somewhat immune to other PWO's after taking them for so long so I generally would keep 2-3 different ones on hand and switch up to keep things fresh. That being said, I have NOT noticed this with Quake. This stuff just keeps getting better! With my injury I'm sure I would have slacked off in the past but with quake fresh in my belly each workout day I am focused and driven to push as hard as possible no matter what. This is truly the best PWO I have ever used .... and I have used a lot. Awesome stuff !

Again ... if you haven't tried Quake yet then you owe it to yourself to get off your ass and give it a shot!!!

You feel like quake has a cumulative effect? Btw that's good news the finger is almost fully healed!

Yes I do feel like it has a cumulative effect .... think I even said that a few posts back. All in all I have been very impressed with this PWO. And trust me, I am not easy to impress in this category. I've tried all kinds of different PWO products and have never really found one that I would call my go-to PWO .... until now. Once this tub is gone rest assured I will be purchasing more .... Makes me really want to try out some other IronFlex products!

You may have, I'm apart of so many logs I forget who said what :/ sorry.

With so many pre workout products on the market, I'm glad we impressed you with ours. We run a lot of promos, so you may need to get in on the hormonal promos ;)

Can we use this in our advertising? Lol!
I'm happy you're really enjoying it!!

No worries.

If I had the funds I would be all over the prohormones at IronFlex. Sadly I am unemployed right now and things are very tight. The job market in my area in the field I was in has dried up. Been trying to make a career change and get into the fitness and supplement industry somehow. I have over 20 yrs in sales and management and a ton of personal knowledge regarding fitness, nutrition, etc...

Thanks for the support.. I too was very surprised with how much I'm enjoying Quake..

Did Chest and Shoulders and threw in some bicep work to round things out last night. Still on the injured list so not really following my standard workout routine as closely as before .... back still is not getting the workout it needs do to continued difficulty with heavy pulling work because of the injury. Good news however....looks like splint will be off in a few days and then I can bend the damn finger for the first time in 3 weeks.

Again ...I credit Quake for keeping motivated and focused throughout all this. Awesome stuff !

Shoulders feel great , chest feels tight (nice pump), and biceps are pumped ... the incline curls hit them from a completely different angle that was obviously needed ... feels great! Thanks again Quake ! Endurance, motivation, and intense razor-sharp focus blocking out the world and becoming one with your muscles.

I mainly just wear my splint at night now that my pins came out. The movement of the fingers is getting better but they're still very stiff/sore. Yours will probably be rather stiff and sore too after 3 weeks in the splint. Sucks but it gets better!

Yeah I'm expecting a week or so of 'rehab' on the finger after 3 weeks of not bending it. The knuckle hurts to the touch due to not moving for so long and me not being the 'best patient' lol ..... like hell I was gonna not lift with that hand for this long! I'd rather take the longer healing time and sore knuckle etc .... Dr. just looked at me funny when I laughed at her for telling me that. Can't wait to hit some heavy deads !

Great session!

Thanks good lookin' ;)

Still a little on the light weight side for some of the lifts that are still difficult with the finger in a splint. But in a few days it comes off and I can start to get back to normal. I am drooling over the chance to do some heavy deadlifts. Can't wait !

In the words of Ronnie Colman "Its all light weight Baby!!"

Finger healing up???

Yep its on the mend. Splint came off Friday so now its all about getting it to bend with full range of motion again after being splinted for almost a month.
I was away all weekend but got a good workout in Friday evening before we left town. Actually got some deadlifts in ! I will post info in a little while.

Gonna hit legs tonight

Nice !! You'll be back at it in no time...

Got this workout in Friday evening before leaving town for some much needed R&R up in the woods. Splint came off the finger finally !!! Still can't bend it with full range of motion and the knuckle is pretty swollen. Didn't stop me from going as heavy on the deadlifts as my compromised grip would allow. Still not as heavy as I would like but getting better. Shout out to Quake once again for keeping me motivated and focused throughout. If you haven't figured it out already, I'm sold on Quake! I WILL be buying more of this awesome PWO and it is now my go-to PWO. Before the injury and even with the injury I have seen the best workouts of my life while using Quake. Awesome product !!!

Fixed. Awwww thanks bud! Wait, was it the cheeks or did you go digging deeper? That extra bit of info changes if it was an honor or a disgrace!

Doesn't matter as long as you like it, amirite?

Was away from the laptop for a few days .... again this is unusual for me but it is what it is. Got 2 good workouts in that I will post now. Quake is still kicking ass! Even took a scoop on my off day to help me power through a tough day of painting a barn out in the heat. Had to go help out my Dad by painting his new barn for him .... free labor. :)

Good workout ! Can't wait until I can add some weight to the front squats ... still getting used to the movement as well as the bruised shoulders from the bar. Arms are too long for the olympic grip so I've been going with the cross arm grip. Thanks again to Quake for the motivation and focus.

The 29th was my 43rd Birthday and I decided to workout. My lady and my kids didn't understand why I wouldn't take my B-Day off ..... they just don't understand how good it feels to lift .... why not celebrate a b-day that way? I enjoyed it .... Quake is awesome for motivation!
