Nootropimax - Good but GI Issues

Started Nootropimax and I've had pretty series GI issues on the first 3 days. The product works well so far, aside from this unpleasant issue. Perhaps I need to lower the dose, but then I'm not using it as intended.

I've read that bacopa can do this, but at higher doses. Nothing else has changed in my diet. No stress. Will perhaps try one cap in the morning.

Anyone else have a similar experience with this or other nootropics?

Not at all I just picked some up and I love it. It's got a unique feel. You might just react badly to one ingredient. I have had that problem with other formulations out there.

Did you at least get the clean focus feeling from it? I was impressed by it. Of course I'm not having gi issues from it.

A lot of products that work through these pathways do cause GI distress. The best way is to split the dosage for a few days and then try a full dose.

Yup, I felt really good on it. Smooth. ...I will try to give it another day or two.

Now that we're talking about it how long did it last for you and did you take both caps at once I only took one so maybe that's why but I did feel like it was smooth but only lasted a few hours.

I also have a tub of Focus XT - Caffeine Free. I'll try to continue with the Nootropimax first.

I took it at 6am this morning, both caps, about 30 minutes after a granola bar and whey protein shake. It lasted until about 3pm, I'd say.

How exactly are you taking it? 2 caps at a time, empty stomach, etc? For some people, it seems that certain supplements/ingredients, especially herbal ones, take a little time to adjust to, like forskolin for example, where some people have some GI issues at first, but it often settles down after some time using it. You could try one cap at a time, perhaps that will treat your stomach better, and if it does, you can try going back up to two at once after a while and see how it treats you, or you could try sticking to one at a time, but taking a second pill another time; it's possible that one cap could be easier on your stomach than two. Alternatively, you could try changing the timing in relation to food. I'm not sure how you're taking it now, but you could try 15-30 minutes before food, 30-60 minutes after food, etc; I find it doesn't have to be taken super far away from food, so that may help with any potential stomach issues. We'll get it figured out.

Definitely do because it is a solid supp. Some people report similar issues with FXT as well due to the staggering choline amount. Always suggest split dosing (even just a short time apart) or sipping on FXT over the course of 15-30 mins to alleviate those issues.

I would take a single cap in the morning for a few days to see if you have the same response. Then dose the second cap a few hours later.

I would second the suggestion to split up the dosage. I find that Nootropimax is still effective at one cap, so you might want to experiment with trying just one. I've also noticed that I still get great focus and mental energy when dosing close to food, so don't be too concerned with dosing it away from food. Glad you're enjoying it so far though!

I am the king of stomach issues and didn't notice any at all with Nootropimax.
No no I have that title good sir! I had constant ingestion on epistane, and can't handle forskolin at all. And tacos make me sick, lol.

But yeah this didn't hurt me. I also take one cap. But it last maybe 3 hours at full swing. Taking another at lunch puts it through the rest of the day.

I've noticed that as well. For example ABE sometimes gives me GI issues but I love the product and it works great for me. After a week or so on it though my GI issues go away.

You know güt health from evomuse will fix your GI issue in a few days even if you don't get used to it. I take less antacids since taking gut health. I'm no rep for them but a fan of their product. Oh and it's incredibly reasonable in price.

I take Jarrow EPS daily and never have these issues. Took one cap this morning and still the same result 45 minutes later. Will give it another 3 days dosing one in the a.m. and see how it goes from there

Took one cap this morning with casein shake and granola bar: had loose BM 45 minutes later, but not horrible. Got through my workout OK, but def not the same as two caps.

No loose BM issues so far. It's worn off, so one cap lasted me about 6 hours, but it just kept me going, nothing crazy or super powered. Then I felt a bit of a crash. So To be safe, I just took half of the second capsule (dumped half out).

I still feel a little foggy headed, but that could be from other things.

However, I'm hoping these don't cause crashes.

See how we go.

Ending Day 4. I took one cap in the am and that helped the GI issues. Took the second cap in the afternoon around 1pm, I think. It kicked in a little while later.

It's 9:30pm and my head is a bit foggy and feeling like I've crashed. ...Hence my earlier question if people can crash on nootropics. ???
