Hey fellas! I still have to put up the pics from the digital cam. I also took pics with an old fashioned 35mm. Because of previous engagements I showed up about a half an hour late. When I got their I saw Craig Titus who was very willing to take a pic with me. I also took pics with Chad Nichols, the guru himself and big Jeramy Freeman who was also a kind and soft spoken fellow. My lady and I also saw Vince Taylor, who was extremely cool last year as well as this year. He was looking thick and as if he could of competed right then and their. Stan McCrary had to have the shiniest shirt I have ever seen! Dexter was at a table selling merchandise. Every time I meet him he is kind but seems to be a bit arrogant. I dont know what it is. As I sat down in my seats I later came to realize that the lady in the next row and two seats over was Art Atwood's girlfriend. She was very cute and when he went up to do his posing routine she ran up to the front row where she supported her man and he waved in acknowledgement. I thought that was very sweet. I also thought it was cool that "regular" females are interested in big bb instead of the stereotypical female bb or fitness athlete. The females were up when I went to my seats and have to say that I think Heather Foster had to have had one of the best performances in the show, Man Or Woman! A funny thing is that Yaxxini Oriquin or whatever her name is had a "Janet" incident. As she was doing the final posedown for the heavyweight title her bro top started to raise. Everyone was laughing their asses off! She, like a champ quickly readjusted her top and just shrugged it off with a smirk. She won the overall. Now to the mens show. Nasser please retire! You look fat and tired. The poor guy looked frustrated as he had to constantly wave to the fans to yell louder (or at all)! Darrem Charles looked like he put on size and his conditioning was on the money! Probably why everyone booed when he was announced as runner up instead of as the winner. Melvin had great shave and amazing muscle bellies. I was also very happy for his first pro win, its just that he was too soft compared to Darrem. Richard Jones was in in tight condition and looked like he sacrificed a tiny bit of condition to come in a bit bigger. He looked great though. Like a mini Shawn Ray, my favorite of all time. I also took a pic with the legendary Flex Wheeler who also seems to be in more favorable health and has put on more size from past photos. He was a photographer at the show. At the end of the show I also took a pic with the legendary Mike Katz who judged the show. In fourth place was Ahmad Haidar. What can I say about the mans abs that hasnt been said before. Wow! He has great lines and shape, but needs more back and arms to really be a showstopper. That and about 5-10 hard pounds for him to pop out in a show instead of always appearing as an also ran. In fifth was Pavol Jablonicky. The crowd went nuts and started booing at his placement. The man was possibly the hardest contestant up there. I also wanna write about the free bags you get at these shows. It gets worse every year. This was my third time going and do you know what you get when you pay 200 bucks for two seats. Two free samples of Juiced protein and some advertisements. WOW! That sucks. Just spit in my shaker bottle why dont you and tell me its clean! Assholes. As everyone was outside the auditorium I met Eddie Van Amsterdam. Funny part is he somehow recognized me from when I was there two years ago. But I didnt remember seeing him. Must have confused me with another dude but it was nice that he tries to make the effort to remember the fans. He was a cool dude with huge ass arms. Jason Arntz had some wide as shoulders as if you didnt know already. Mike Morris was really cool too and a nice guy. I also happend to have met Grand Master Melle Mel. Cool member of hip hop history and a really buff guy at that and he is in his 40's. Really nice guy. Rodney St. Cloud was rediculously nice and was dressed in his fireman garb, sans a shirt. I looked so freaking pale next to him. Before the assholes at the City Center literally kicked us out I talked to a much kinder Victor Martinez. You see last year the last pic I took was of me and Victor right after he won. I saw him walking in the streets. He wasnt an asshole at all, just seemed carb depleted and tired and didnt wanna really be bothered. He was nice enough to take a pic with me though. He looked monstrous this year. I think he should have competed. It would have been a repeat. I also remet his trainer Victor Munoz and he gave me his number. So watch it every body, in ten years I might be a contender for the NOC. As I was out side I met a very nice couple. The woman was a dietician and the wife of Frank Roberson, him being the man. He was trading strories with a man and he made sure to tell me that he would be right with me for a pic. His wife was very kind and talked to me for a while about bodybuilding and dieting. She even took my email and said that she would get back to me. When I talked to Frank he was amazing laid back and cool. He was also ripped and wearing a cowboy hat. He didnt place at the show though. He talked to me for a while and even said I had potential for my age and said I was thick and had full muscle bellies. I figured he could tell anyone they look good but he didnt have to say I had potential. I took that as a great compliment from one of the newest pro's around. I almost forgot to mention to other bb's. One being Rob Lopez. Now I have seen his pics before and thought he has a great physique. But I didnt recognize him. I ACCIDENTALLY CALLED HIM THE WRONG NAME LIKE 4 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!! He looked ticked off as I would be, but he still took a pic with me. Sorry Rob! Jimmy "the Razor" Canyon was the other bb that is worth mentioning. He really deserves the title Razor. The man took a pic with me and then obligded when I asked for an ab shot. AMAZING to see write before your eyes. He is why I am dieting. He was very cool adn reminded me of a former associate I knew. Jimmy said many motivational words and introduced me to his trainer Travis. Jimmy is a class act all the way. As I was walking down the block there was a diner where I saw a few bb eating at. Funny enough I saw Jimmy who waved to me as he was eating a sandwich. The funny thing is that I could swear he had mayonaise on his face adn it was dripping out the sandwich. Now thats a diet I wanna follow. Most symmetrical top five I have seen in a while or ever! Especially when the NOC is know as a Mass Monster show where the fans love guys like Atwood, Ruhl, and Jay Cutler. Symmetry is coming back hardcore baby! Hoped you like the review and the next time I post here again it should be with stuff I forgot about (it IS 5 in the morning as I write this! Damn insomnia!) or with a couple of cool pics. Peace fellas!
