I have been using Shotgun for awhile, almost a tub now I guess. My observations are:
The taste is like rotten banana but I find 50% + of supps probably taste better on the way out of your system than on the way in
The pumps are huge, and a couple times when I've pushed the dosage, a tiny bit painful. Maybe the box is right when it says it makes your muscles damage more by rubbing against eachother when so pumped (or something along those lines).
On arm days, I can barely straighten my arms fully, they are so pumped.
Everyone reacts differently with different dosages. I get a weak response with a level scoop. I take 1.5 - 2 scoops depending on when I've eaten.
Drink lots of water before with and after to avoid stomache ache, gas and dehydration headaches.
And it will help with recovery waaaay better than No explode because it has glutamine and bcaa's whereas no explode is like powdered redbull with little to no worthwhile supps. Though I do add 1 teaspoon (5mg) of additional BCAA's with each serving.
I think beta alanine is the next big thing out there due to its use with lactic acid, meaning those extra couple muscle tearing reps.
Finally, with what, 16g's of protein in it? Nice kicker.. that's like a bonus 1/2 scoop of protein for you. Not too much as to bog you down during a workout, but enough to provide immediate protein synthesis after your workout.
All in all what more can you ask for in a pre WO no2 supp?
