Hey guys. I gotta question concerning one of my friends. He is getting ready for a contest coming up in April. We never go into extravagant details about his two previous cycles but he has told me he doesnt use HCG. I know for his first cycle he used dbol, test e, and nolva and clomid. But no HCG. Is he just messing with me or what? I thought that HCG was a prerequisite for a cycle.
 
No, it's not a pre-requisite, people have been doing 8-12 week cycles and recovering properly without it for years. It just greatly aids in recovery when used properly, so it's possible to retain more gains when using HCG. I personally like having it around.

I personally opt to run cycles without it as it is difficult to find it at a decent price. At least that has been the case for me. When the HCG costs more than the gear itself that is too much IMO.
 
Can you really put a price on making recovery easier and preventing testicular atrophy during a cycle when used properly? Who cares what the gear costs, it's all about proper recovery.

Agreed with ManBeast. I would spring for the HCG no matter what. It's attainable, you just have to look around. Gotta think what's best for recovery, so you can make it out as well as possible :)
