Ya its a freakin nightmare we cant beat them flukey, fruity, crybaby Habs. I cant even watch them play montreal right now, thats how much it bugs me.
 
Playoffs were off to a crazy start for hawks, they were down 3-0 early first game, came back and won in 2ot with back up goal, posting 42 saves, also kane's first game back from injury looked fairly smooth, hopefully he doesn't pull a "Rose" in Chi.

I'm beyond pissy that the Bruins didn't make it, but I'm glad Charielli is gone. He made a few bad moves the last 2 years letting go of Boychuck and Thorton, and keeping Marchand.
I'll be drowning my sorrows while catching up on the Red Sox

Thorty was nail in coffin,, Marchand is a guy we need, pain in the ass like Linsman was.
 
Crawford to start game 2.

Coach Q usually loves to ride the hot hand, he also doesn't like young players. So I'm sure it was a struggle to choose.

Either way I love that the Hawks battled back and stole game 1.

Personally, I think it's a bad call. You have a hot goalie who stole you back a game, and your starter sucked it up... Hope that doesn't bite the Hawks in the azz

How do we need Marchand? His numbers are not top goal scoring material, he's lost his scrappy edge, and we can still get good market value for him....

Jeez dude, so he had a bad season, so did Looch and almost everyone! Remember what Brad did for us the last few seasons? He will be back hard as nails next fall...Pasta was shining light and Spoons really started to skate. Rask was shaky all year, and we STILL didnt produce anyone in top 20 scoring in league.Chara looked 60 years old..Dougie has to hit the weight room, and Bergy? Lets leave him alone.
 
So who's everyone's sleeper team? I know it's playoffs and all teams have a lot of talent. But I'm thinking the Caps are gonna shock some people. Ovy is just too dam good, and Backstrom is a fuking scientist with the puck.

Flames,, but ya man, Ovy is awesome! If Price gets mvp over him I will be pissed! I think Calgary will continue to surprise everyone.
 
Ok, so I'm watching the Hawks destroy the Ducks in game 7. So... Looks like the Bolts vs Chicago for the cup. I'm going Chicago on this one. They are a legit team, with a lot of guys having a lot of playoff experience as a team. Obviously the Bolts are good, very good and very fast, but... I just see them getting outclassed for the cup.

Im currently at the bar watching the hawks, as a hawks fan. Dont count the ducks out yet..few games ago they scored 3 goals in 37 seconds.
 
As a Bolts fan I'll try to be objective, I think Chicago will be tough, they have great players, and as you said tons of playoff experience, they've been here before. But, the bolts have been through 3 tough series, against 3 tough teams, high scoring offense and when Bishop is on his game he's great so I think it will at least be a good 6-7 game series...I hope anyway

Bishop is HUGE...I can't imagine trying to score on him. You would see nothing.
 
Well. The hawks pulled it out, and with their experience and never say die history, they almost have to be favorites in the series despite the bolts regular season success.

As a Bruins fan, I'm naturally not a big fan of TB, but mostly because they always give us a super tough time. I do like the Hawks for the cup, but I do not think it will be a run away by any means. It's gonna be a rough series, can't wait to toss on my Bruins jersey and watch it with my head hung down in post season shame.

Bolts will be there next year they played great, just didn't get some bounces that Chicago got. Crawford played great in final game as well. I was surprised to see some of the shots missed by the Mr. Stamkos- he is unreal good.
 
I'm going to go on record as saying I'm not a fan of the Bruins signing of Rinaldo... He is a dirty player with no skill. I'm all about tough guys and enforcers, 110%.... IF they do it right and can skate when they aren't fighting.
So who are your favorite and least favorite signings of the off season, and what are your thoughts for the year?

The Bruins line-up this year isn't as promising as last year . I dont like that they canned charelli . Ill always b a Bruins fan . I love hockey in general. This sports illustrated article haha... i quote them.

I'm not worried about the test. They are 2 way prospects that will spend most of the time (prob all the time) in the AHL. The fails came due to the fact that they are kids and have zero size!!! Once the trainers get a hold of them and bulk them up, then we will have something to work with... Until then, it's just building the farm team. As far as Charelli.... I'm not too mad, I trust Julien. We shall see

Iam a little excited for hockey this year my kids already have their jersey's out and are asking when the next game is... love it !!!!julien is definitely a good coach reminds me of rick bonus of the 90s.
 
Sadly, as a Blackhawks fan, I have to keep watching the news to see if one of our best (and one of our highest paid) will be suspended or not.

Just sucks because there is so much unknown and they can suspend him at any point. And his salary has been part of why we had to give up a bunch of other great players.

Yup. I hear ya. Ridiculous that the off duty cop that took the girl home saw the whole thing at the bar happen and (supposedly) she was the one all for going back to kaner's. Admittedly I haven't caught up on the latest news on the situation so i may be a bit behind.

There very well could be, but i dont know if. It seems like there are a lot of unknowns for how long this has been getting sorted out.

The "real story" may never come out. Supposedly, the grand jury got postponed because they are trying to reach a settlement.
 
I actually have no prob with the Hawks cleaning up (only if it can't be the B's of course). Good, respectable, original 6 team with a good fan base..... Sucks about Kane, I hadn't heard too much, but I'm willing to bet media coverage is a tad over bearing
