Newbie question. Are alcohol swabs necessary for SubQ??

Im going start an oral cycle along with CJC DAC and GHRP-6 and wanted to know if you guys actually using them.
There are some diabetic topics where people explain swab with alcohol like we do its useless and even counterproductive. Lot people not using it and never had infection. What you guys think?

I think putting a needle in your body without using an alcohol swab is reckless and a recipe for a nice abscess.

Agreed with above. And why not? They're like cheaper then dirt. The cost of curing ONE infection could buy you alcohol swabs for the rest of your life. Twice. And a hooker.

Honestly I think they are not "necessary"....but as already noted ...why not use them? you are essentially pin pricking the surface and area right under your skin....this happens all the time minus the (supposed to be sterile) foreign substance. That being said i always swab the needle tip if i reuse since that is penetrating under the skin.

Better safe than sorry. They are like 3 dollars for 100 of them...why not use them
