New to site 39 and Osta

Hi guys. So here is my story. Any advice is much appreciated. I have never cycled anything before. Started lifting and running in my late 20s. But 2 years ago I fell off the wagon and lost alot of mass and put on fat. I want to get back to where I was and I don't want to workout for 2 years to see minimal results. I am an extremely hard gainer. I am not opposed to working very hard and I eat pretty clean but the older I get the harder it is to see any results. I would like to put on 4 -6 pounds of muscle and drop the same amount of fat in a 4-5 week cycle. My last blood test showed T at 810 which is good. I absolutely do not want shut down and I absolutely do not want gyno. Is Osta what would be best? I ordered Osta from OL and also their PCT but I am apprehensive. Is this enough or do I need a RX PCT? I thought about starting the Osta really low, say 5mg for the first week. Maybe move to 10 second week if sides are low. 10mg 3rd week, 5mg 4th week and start PCT. 5th week PCT only, and run PCT for 3 more. If that cycle went well then I could see a second cycle 5-6 months later and double those amounts. Does this sound effective enough to justify the cycle and safe for a first run of Osta? I have read everything I can on SARMs and they sound fairly safe under the right circumstances but man there are a bunch of horror stories too.

Honestly man, it isnt worth suppressing your pretty solid test numbers for such a low dose. Risk/reward isn't there. Post your training and diet breakdown. Perhaps your view of being a hard gainer can be addressed through the above two factors before you needing to get on the osta.

Going to start lifting again in August. Currently running/jogging 3 miles per night (last 3 months) to build an endurance base. 1400-1800 cals per day and 40g of protein. Zero BF reduction so far. The last year I lifted (2 years ago). I killed it in the gym 12 months 6 days per week. I lifted heavy, ate to gain, and in 12 months I gained 2 pounds of muscle and 5 pounds of fat. That was so discouraging I went back to running then fell off the wagon entirely about a year later.

What kind of fats are you eating? I'm surprised you can run 3 miles a day with that low of a caloric intake. How much do you weigh now, height and BF %?

I am 5'8" 175 and BF is roughly 23%. WAY too high. When I was running 10ks and cutting I could get by on 1200-1400 cals per day and run 5-6 miles with decent performance for me (mile times in thd 8s and 9s). I have a desk job and for whatever reason I just don't burn calories. I know I was burning muscle too at that point and hated having a runners body so I started lifting and upped my calories but had mild results. Yesturday was a pretty typical day food wise. I had a bowl of special K and skim milk for breakfast, tuna salad sandwich at lunch made with olive oil mayo, supper was a 1 bowl of venison chili with beans. I would say total calorie intake was 1300-1400.

Ok so ultimate would to get down to around 10-12% BF (trying to be realistic) and put on 7 pounds of muscle in a year. I did put on muscle uring the 5 years I lifted but I would say it wss realistically between 1 and 2 pounds per year.

Personally I think your caloric intake is way to low... I would try to reset your metabolism. You could take the benchmark of 1400 (which is way to low) and slowly week by week adding in calories...maybe 50 a week. You should be up around 2200 a day on a cut....anyway thats my take... Oh and train like a sprinter not a long distance runner...save your muscle

Agreed. I will switch to HIIT for cardio and up my cals incrementally. Still hoping a 6 week cycle of lower dose Osta will help. I am not looking for magic but if the osta can shave off 10-20% of my recomp time and maybe diminish the issue with my shoulder I would cinsider it worthwhile as long as sides are as mild as most say.

IF you run osta, run it for 8 weeks at 20-25mg, it will suppress you, should always have aromasin on that high bf and some cycle assist.

For PCT you need a legit serm. I am using fareston right now.

BUT, I believe you should drop bf around 15% and then run ostarine.

40 did osta 8week + régulariser zma coortisol and diabète controled lost 20 pound from 190 to 170 .. Gaines alot strg ... I think it those wounder when older... I was not chubby and still eating well 5'7... Good stuff and it healed injury ... So Guessfor me good choice

So I ended up starting a compound only 5x5 routine 4 days a week and light cardio on my off days. Upped my cals to 2300 and protein to 125g per day. Tried Ostar1ne and got a headache fron hell from 5mg!! Chalked it up to a fluke and tried it again 2 days ago. Headache from hell so I am going to stay away from that. Ended up starting Str3ngth and EP1C. I was also thinking of running a test boost like Longjack but was wondering. Given my current BF percentage and recomp goals do you guys think I would benefit from stacking something with a moderate dose of arimistane in it? Seems like it would help with cutting and would boost T levels as well. I thought about running Sup3r PCT rather than long jack while I am cutting. Does this make sense??

Good move you drop osta having that side.

With such high natural test you dont need a boost, you wont feel anything.
Maybe its preferable some estrogen control but you may not see results with 25%bf..

I believe you need to focus on clean diet and training to drop that bf, so some cutting agents are more suitable for now. There are tones of them, others can help more in that area

Thanks GreekTheBrick. Can you recommend a good cutter? Anyone else? There are SO many and so many different ingreidents that claim to help. I actually think I can feel a real effect from the Epi. Kind of a mild "on" feeling, more energy, intensity and endurance without the stim sides. I think I am sold on Epi. I did a caliper test today and I am closer to 21% BF. Still way over my goal but not as bad as I estimated.
I thought arimistane was used as a cutting ingrediant in some products?

Epi is good and it can help by making you pushing harder and thus shedding pounds. Laxogenin(OL str3ngth and dermastr3ngth) can help but I needed to combine both to see some recomposition effect. Then there is forskolin(as standalone and in AnabetaElite). You can also use a carb blocker with your high carb meal. Sure thing is DONT jump on all these at once. Pick one or two, work with it to see if it helps and then use an other.

Finally there are stim cutters like ECA, Yohimbine HCL and others but I havent use anything so I cannot comment and recommend.
