New to PH cycles

Hey everyone,
I am a 21 year old and have been seriously lifting for about 3 years, results aren’t quite going the way I hoped anymore. I’m looking to do a heavy bulk. I have never done a cycle but have been doing some research about prohormones and don’t have a ton of background knowledge, but trying to be more educated on them. Have checked out halodrol but saw negative comments on it since it’s a prop blend. Have seen quite a few products nowhere near the recommended 300-500 mg’s of 4andro for good results. Also not sure which brands/sites can be trusted. I’m now looking into Andro the giant but am unsure about proper on cycle support/ estrogen blockers/ pct with this particular supplement. Any suggestions or valuable info for a beginner is appreciated!

You are 21... Too young, even if you are experienced lifting.

What are your current Test levels?

Are you aware once you start cycles, you may hasten your path to needing TRT? As your test levels may/may not recover, it's a gamble.

Go get pre cycle blood work. Report back to us on food macros too and lifting plan.

If your total test is 800-1100 ng/dL range, just lift and eat right. If you want to cycle against sage advice... At least you know your baseline levels from blood work.

So many young bucks want to play with their endocrine system...

Maybe try Max LMG or 1/4 andro, those are easier to start.

I’m about in the same boat you are. These guys on here definitely know what they’re talking about but this is what I’ve gathered in basic terms. Strong supplements has about everything you need regards to getting your cycle and post cycle care and they have a lot of reviews, tips, and information about what you’re exactly getting. That is who I use anyways. I’m 23 years old. What I’ve gathered is you need a base compound(prohormone), on cycle support, and an estrogen blocker. For post cycle care you need a test booster along with a post cycle support. Just do a lot a lot of research on everything you’re getting. Most important thing though is getting your test levels back to normal as fast as possible to keep your gains when your on your post cycle treatment. Hope some of that helps. I don’t stack my supplements(prohormones) so I can’t give you no advice there.

This ^^^, the best advice is to wait longer before messing with your natural hormones at 21 UNLESS bloods confirm you have low test (at which point your doctor should be having a conversation with you about trt etc).

Progress does stall after 3 years for sure but there is a very good chance that some basic improvements in diet and nutrition will get you moving in the right direction again.

If you decide to run a cycle then personally I like 1/4/epiandro, it was my first and very effective for relatively low sides.

BUT whilst you’ll find lots of stuff saying you don’t need proper OTC or PCT with milder compounds it’s not worth the risk (1-Andro shut me down). Research and get a proper serm for pct. give yourself the best possible chance of recovering fully bro.

When you’ve done loads more research start a new thread and layout a full cycle plan.

Like I say, my view is not to cycle at all. If you are going to (and I’m assuming that pinning test isn’t an option as that would also be a safer option to pro hormones) then I hope this advice helps

Don't get your information from a site that is trying to sell products!
I have seen the most horrible.... And completely false information on those sites. They care nothing about your health. They only care about sales.

You're young man, take advantage of it. You can make fantastic natty gains just by staying on top of your training and nutrition regimens. And if you start to experience a plateau, make some adjustments in regards to your diet and training. I bet you that'll fix it up right away. I'd stick with the basics - Whey protein, a good multi-vitamin, and get some creatine if you'd like.

Depending on how your metabolism works, if you're prone to gaining fat pretty easily like me and you're trying to build quality muscle, eat at a surplus of around 250 calories above your TDEE which is the amount of calories you require to maintain your current weight per day. If you have a fast metabolism, do the opposite. Add more calories and see where that takes you.

Do what I did, spend a full year researching gear. Read up on what the side effects can be, how to anticipate them using the correct drugs to manage the side effects. How to maximize your cycle, how to run a proper PCT, etc... There's a lot to it bro, and you've got to know this stuff before running anything for your sake. You'd be amazed how much time, money and aggravation you'll save just by being more patient and using common sense.

I wish you well.

These guys are all spot on... At 21, you're in the prime of your life and hormones are at their best. Using anything hormonal now potentially sets you up for a lifetime of disappointment afterwards.

If you must add something, stick to the natural supplements like SNS Xgels (Arachidonic acid) or even the basics like creatine mono (if you're not already using it). Assuming you've got some of the simplest stuff covered, natural anabolics like xgels and other similar products are 100% the way to go until you're a little further along

Thanks for all the advice everyone. My diet is pretty solid, could definitely be more consistent with it, though. Most experienced people do tell me I should just focus on diet being this young, just difficult to be content in the long natty process when there are guys twice your size at the gym, who clearly cycle. I do the basics of whey, creatine monohydrate, mass gainer, multivitamin. I’m just genetically very skinny, weighed 160 soaking wet when I graduated high school.... worked my ass off and have made it to 185 at my best, being a senior in college. I feel as if I can lift as heavy as most guys in the gym just been frustrating for the past year. Just seems as if a lot of guys are starting PH cycles younger and younger now a days, but will definitely put effort into my diet and try to add mass this winter, while researching, and see if I can get some of the results I’m looking for. Appreciate everything, super great feedback on this site!

Did not get blood work done, but definitely will if I decide to start. I don’t focus on macros particularly hard, but make sure I’m eating 3,000 calories a day with over 250 grams or protein. Sometimes hard to be consistent on it being a college student and working 30 hours a week, can definitely try to be better about that. Lift 6 times a week... definitely know what I’m doing at the gym. I posted more in a quick reply below!

Are you cutting and pasting for the kiddos? Good idea
