new superbit dvd

has anybody heard about these superbit dvd's? awesome video and audio quality, sounds pretty sweet.

What is SuperBit.....is it some how comparable to DVD like Vcr was to BetaMax? I hope not cause I don't want to have to buy new DVD's or anything like that.

read the link dude. it is a dvd that can play in a normal dvd player but has a different format.

I stopped being lazy and read the info, seems really cool, all DVD's should have this! I actually remember seeing the Spiderman 2 Superbit DVD at stores when it was released! Will certain titles come out with this or is this the way of the future and all companies will make DVD's this way!?

The thing that sucks is that most superbit titles have no extras. With the high bit rate there's no room. Unless you have a kick ass system and huge tv the difference is not that noticable to the average viewer.
