New Stack Advice

A little bit of background first. I used to lift 4-5 days a week for about 5-6 years straight. Used creatine, pre workouts, protein, multi and fish oil. The next couple of years I lifted on and off due to work and getting married. Never really got back into the normal routine like previous years. Now with work and everything else stable, I have been going to the gym 4-5 days a week for the last 3 months (no supps besides multi and whey). I want to get a decent stack put together but the industry has changed quite a bit and need some advice.

Age: 30
Weight: 195
Height: 6' 3"
Body Fat: 10-12%
Goals: Build Muscle

ON Gold Standard Whey
Men's Multi Vitamin

Want to add a creatine product, pre workout (read about mesomorph or hypermax xt), maybe try ArA I did use xfactor years ago but don't know if anything changed. I will research more and appreciate your suggestions.

Brands used in the past, Controlled Labs, Gaspari, ON, BSN, and Dymatize.

For creatine i would just pick up some creatine monohydrate, brand doesn't really matter. For pre workout I like mesomorph, high volume or conquer. X gels or x factor are both great ara products and I would check out some natural anabolic products like abe, epicatechin and or laxogenin products.

I'll address every one here.

Creatine:
SNS Creatine Monohydrate (tubs will last you for years)
PES Ergonine (everyday ergogenic staples including Creatine)
OL Tr1umph (same as Ergonine, but has Phosphatidic Acid instead of HICA which is considered a natural anabolic due to mTOR stimulation and glycogen retention)

Pre Workout:
OL Conqu3r Unleashed (well balanced, uses ingredients meant for pre-workout)
APS MesoMorph (never tried this but it's worth a mention, but DMAA apparently gives absurd energy if that's what you're going for)
PES High Volume (crazy pumps, no stims)

ArA is still good and hasn't changed. It's an old ingredient with studies to back it depending on your ability to tolerate possible increased joint pain/DOMS. Epicatechin supplements are good for overall health and increasing the density of your workouts (if this is remotely fits into your style of training). If you do high frequency training (hitting body parts 2+ times a week), consider supplementing HMB-CA (not FA), Scivation Xtend Perform (it has a new ingredient proving to help with recovery) and even transdermal Laxogenin. Forskolin supports favorable body composition (preserves LBM when dieting, prevents fat gain when bulking) and it is good to dose anywhere from 50-100mg for 8-12 weeks. Other than that, you won't need much else other than your basics and a good training program.

Other useful supplements that are cheap and good are Ashwagandha (you can get KSM-66 for cheap) and Rhodiola Extract. These two reduce overall stress and stress from training so you can train for longer without deloading. KSM-66 has a million benefits, including test boosting, cortisol CONTROL (meaning it does not reduce it unless it's excessive), favorable body comp, etc. You can read most of these on the internet from Examine and anecdote on these forums.

If you're cutting, those adaptogens above are great. Add Yohimbine HCL/Alpha-Y if you need an extra boost and want to cut off the stubborn fat. If your joints are getting hammered, consider Cissus, Curcumin, and Boswellia Serrata.

Hope you don't fall into the trap that many do (including something I did in the past) of stacking 3 or more natural anabolics. Huge waste of money.

Look into creatine. Regular creatine monohydrate is all that is needed, but there are some other creatine options out there that provide you more than just your daily dose of creatine. Ergonine is one option and was covered nicely. There is also CreMax XT which falls under that umbrella.

Not only do you get your full dose of creatine, in two forms. Creatine Monohydrate and MCC which may lead to better strength output than regular mono alone. COP is cinluded to help buffer the "burning" sensation to help your muscles contract for a longer period. It also synergistic with creatine and enhances the effect of creatine. Betanine, dosed at 2.5 grams per day increases performance and can also have a positive impact on body composition. The amount in CreMax XT is exactly 2.5 grams. It also comes in a great orange flavor.

I would also look into a fish oil supplement such as Orange Triad. Depending on where you live and how much you're in the sun, maybe invest in a Vitamin D product.

As far as creatine goes I'd just take something like iForce Finish Line which contains creatine and a bunch of other beneficial ingredients in clinical doses.

For a preworkout I really like iForce MaxOut which provides lasting energy, focus and a nice pump. Also really enjoy Controlled Labs White Flood. Or you could go with a stim free such as iForce Hemavo2 Max, PES High Volume or ControlledLabsWhite Pipes and add a caffeine tab to any of those.

As others have said above, a basic creatine monohydrate should be all you need. Its inexpensive but it can make a difference performance and strength. If its in the budget, I would suggest looking into the products Ant mentioned above. CreMax XT and Ergonine are both great products that are a step above your regular creatine monohydrate, and you get a lot of great staple ingredients included in these formulas that can help with performance and recovery.

Regarding pre-workouts, I think the ones you listed are both great options. But be mindful that Mesomorph contains DMAA and is a higher stim option, so if you don't tolerate stimulants well or if you're planning to use the pre in the evening hours for training, it may not be the best option. I would recommend Hypermax XT or Conquer Unleashed. I really enjoy Hypermax XT for the mental clarity, focus, and clean energy it delivers. The serving size is customizable so you can experiment with dosing 1-2 scoops. A common serving that people enjoy is right about 1.5 scoops.

Also, depending on budget, ArA is always a good option to add in if you're in a surplus and looking to gain size and strength. The feedback on ArA has been consistently solid, and it works well. But if you've been away from a structured training routine and you haven't been consistently in the gym and working toward progression, I think you could do without the ArA for now. I would start basic and consider adding in a product like ArA down the road when progress starts to stall

Thanks for the quick replies guys its is highly appreciated. I read up more on the forums about the products your guys mentioned and I have narrowed down some of my choices.

Creatine
Ergonine and CreMax XT going with one of those options

Pre Workout
Hypermax XT, seems like a popular choice with normal amount of stims, any idea on the pump?
PES High Volume, stim free option
Mesomorph, seems like its is very stim heavy and may not be a good choice, I work out in the evening.

ArA
X Gels or X Factor
How does dosing work? Do we go with how much ArA is converted or just go with what the gels contain?

Not sure if I should add Epicatechin now or later still want to do more research on its since I still do no fully understand it.

HyperMax XT at one scoop is pretty good for a pump, but two scoops would be better since you would be getting 2 grams of glycerol and 1 gram of agmatine. However, if you were to stack HyperMax XT with CreMax XT, you would be getting more glycerol to aid in your pump.

In about another week or two, the new version of HyperMax XT will be in stores and it will contain 2 grams of glycerol, 1 gram of agmatine and 4 grams of l-cirtuline per once scoop. Here is the label
