i have been reading this page for about 3 months.
i have recently began a life transformation process.
A little back story.

went through depression and drug use.Went through a divorce, lost a child and became more depressed.
i used drugs and alcohol to cope with a relationship that i was not fully vested in.
This past April 25th was my 3rd year anniversary of sobriety.
This September will be 1 yr of being anti depressant free.

I am 6'3
312.7 lbs.
im guessing around 25%-30% body fat.
My goal is to be between 245-265 lbs.

Right now i have limited equipment.
Equipment includes:
30' Battle Rope
35 lb Sandbag
12 lb Dumbbells (x2)

in the process of buying a heavy bag
some form of suspension training.

Breakfast
3 eggs
2 slices of Wheat toast
Banana
Apple

or

Oatmeal with some fruit
a glass of milk

Snack

Protein Shake

Lunch

Grilled chicken breast
Sweet Potato
Broccoli
Iced tea

Snack

Handful of almonds
Apple
slice of cheddar cheese

Pre work out
Chicken or Tuna
Broccoli
Sweet Potatoes

Post Workout
Protein Shake

The hurdle im having is if the diet is enough?
I have a difficult time with push ups and pull ups.
i know over time I will be able to do them.
i look forward to reading and learning from the many people who have been in my shoes and have overcome the same obstacles.

As far as your diet it looks like your getting in protein carbs and fats from good sources. phenibut xt by sns is a good mood supplement and norcodrene by pes is a good fat burner. up your cardio and doing more resistance weight training will help you lose the weight.

First off congratulations on you recent milestone and upcoming one.

What type of Cardio are you incorporating?

There are alot of great calorie/food apps, have you thought about keeping a true log of food to track calories?

Let us know what we can do to help. There are alot of great supplements out there but since you didn't ask about supplementation, I will not push

Continued success!

first off thank you double s
as for cardio
I walk/jog some trails by the house for 30-45 mins a day.
I have also been taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking way out in the parking lots at stores, which is a pain in the rear in texas heat lol
I use MyFitnessPal on my phone for tracking food.
I take a GNC multivitamin pack everyday. Mens Energy&metabolism blend.

as for other supplementation I have no knowledge on where to start or take.

Great job for starting your weigh loss journey my friend, and that's amazing you are sober now:)

The biggest piece of advice I can give you regarding weight loss, is always and I mean always track your calories. At the end of the day if I ask you what your total calories are for the day you should be able to answer the question instantly, if you can't than your weight loss is going to stall. As for the workout, getting a heavy bag will be amazing, boxing burns a ton of calories my friend, a tredmill is good too. But ya hopefully this helps you out, if you have any other questions let me know and I will answer them:)
