new log - c-AMP & other stuff

OK guys this is my second bulk using c-AMP, BUT I will be using other supps too. Here’s the dosing protocol:

c-AMP – 3 caps in the morning, 3 caps before bed. If I find I’m having difficulty adding weights, I will cut down to 4 caps per day.
Lean Extreme – 1 to 2 caps upon waking, 1 cap 4hrs later, 1 cap before bed
GXR – 2 caps before breakfast on non-training days, and 1 cap before another high carb meal. On training days, 1 cap before breakfast, 2 caps before my post-workout meal.
Sesathin – 3 standard doses per day with meals
Kre-alkalyn – 1 serve on non training days, 1 serve before and after training
Endure (taurine, citrulline malate) – pre and post training, none on non-training days
Glutamine & Arginine – A serve of each before and after training

It’s been a week I’ve been using the above AND eating above maintenance. My last bulk I watched what I ate too closely. Not this time.

BW – 69.7kg (153.3lbs), that’s a 1.1kg (2.4lb) increase in 1 week.

Measurements – legs went up 0.5cm, arms and chest stayed the same. Waist went back up 1 cm to 82cm (32.38inches), HOWEVER, I have my doubts as to whether last time I actually dropped down by 1 whole cm. SO not worried at all. Actually, I’m feeling very lean despite the increase in BW and looking good. Also, with this bulk I’m looking to put on up to 4kg (8.8lbs), and if I go up to 83cm I’ll be cool.

Strength – Nothing out of the norm at the moment, but all lifts are going well. Have been noticing a bit more of a pump.

Other thoughts – Too early to tell if the addition of the other supps has made a difference yet. Remember from my other log that c-AMP did the trick on its own for both the bulk and cut, and as far as I know it still is.
 
Glutamine effects the absorbtion of Arginine....plus ask Layne (Str8flexd) what he thinks of Glutamine supps.....he absolutely adores them :) Sarcasm

Measurements – Will take tomorrow since I had to rush to catch the train.

Strength – Have been doing well here, especially since I changed my routine on squats.

Other thoughts – This bulk has been a bit whacky. I realised this time around I had to eat more and not watch my weight. Well, I went off with a bang an put on a couple of kg's in the first 3 days, then all of a sudden i lost 75% of that, then slowly went up again, then it jumped up again, kept in eating big, and then came back down again. I seriously though I'd be 70kg by the end of this 2nd week. Anyways I have 2 weeks to go. My target of increasing BW by 4kg (8.8lbs) I don't think will happen in the next 2 weeks, but I promise to get 3kg (6.6lbs). I will now lower my c-AMP dose to 4 caps per day.

Another thing. I was doing Snatch Pulls the other night and strained something in my lower right back - don't know at what point it happened or how I did it, but I did feel it during training and when I got home even more so. I was expecting to be really sore the next day. Well guess what? I could still feel 'some' tenderness, but no pain, and today even better, almost gone. I can only put that down to the Cissus, as when u think about it I'm using Lean Extreme, which lowers cortisol, so I would feel this injury even more, so then the Cissues must have really kicked in!

my first bottle of Camph like NEVER runs out lol.. i love it... are you sure there aren't little c-amph people putting extra dosages in my bottle at night

Anyways, forgot to update measurements

Chest - up 1cm
Arms - no change
Legs - no change, although at first my wife said they'd gone up 3cm! Yeah right
Waist - no change
 
End of 3rd week

BW – 70kg (154bs), that’s a 0.4kg (0.88lbs) increase since last week.

Measurements – Everything stayed the same except my waist was down 0.5cm. I double-checked this measurement.

Strength – My training has been excellent, especially my squats. Not sure what to pin it down on though.

Other thoughts – I’m sure I’m disappointing you all in terms of BW gains. Believe me, I have been eating quite a lot. Just yesterday in the office more than a cpl of ppl commented that I was an animal eating all the time. First of all I won’t make the 4kg increase in BW I wanted to get, and I might not get even 3kg with one week to go. It will have been better than last bulk though. The funny thing is that I do appear to have bulked. And know this is not just my perception but comments from others. My shoulders and traps look bulked up, even my chest and legs. But there hasn’t been much of an increase in measurements. Granted I don’t measure my shoulders and traps, which I know have been growing well over the past year. I will say it’s been difficult bulking without having my whey protein, which still hasn’t arrived.

I have been looking softer around the waist and the belt is a little bit more snug, but have not had to move to the next belt hole.

I mentioned last week I hurt my lower right back doing snatch pulls last week, and how the next day I was almost 100% - well, it happened again this week, though this time I’m not sure it was the snatch pulls and also didn’t feel the pain until after training. This time it has not gone away. 2 days after and it’s still quite noticeable.
 
End of 4th week - roundup

BW – 70.7kg For the 4 week bulk my BW increased 2.1kg (4.6lbs), which was much better than my last bulk.

Measurements – For the 4 weeks: Chest went up 2cm, Legs up 0.5cm, Arms stayed the same, waist went up by 0.5cm.

Strength – I am very happy with my training and strength gains at the moment, not sure what it’s due to; c-AMP, kre-alkalyn or just the fact that I’ve been eating lots!

Other thoughts – I was much happier with my bulk this time around, as I ate a lot more! And despite my waist only increasing up 0.5cm which is excellent. However, in terms of muscle growth the measurements haven’t increased much. Funny thing is that I do look like I have bulked up, especially the traps and shoulders, areas which I don’t measure.

As to the combination of supps – I’m not exactly sure of the efficacy of taking c-AMP, LX and GXR. By that I’m referring to diminishing returns. Also, and I’m not sure it relates to the mentioned supps, but of late I have been feeling anxious/jittery – and some ppl have commented on it saying I seem like I’m on something. During a meeting yesterday I had the biggest headspin ever and everyone just looked at me. I thought of BSL Go!, BUT, I only use it occasionally, as in MAYBE once per week?
