NEW FIRST TIMER - FIRST CYCLE

Hello gents and ladies,

I am looking for some guidance, advice, and most likely answers to some questions. I have been playing around with the idea of running my first AAS. From most of the reading I have done, it is advised to run a test only cycle of approx. 500-600 mg a week for about 12 weeks as a first time.

My stats are:

30 year old male
~5 years lifting consistently
180 pounds 5'9" - started around 155
Roughly 12-15%bf
Train 5-6 times a week - hypertrophy style 1-1.5hrs p/day
Diet is on point - example todays meals 1- pro shake/coffee/coc oil 2- cream rice/egg white 3-chicken breast/sw potato 4- chicken/sw potato 5- kale/cabbage/gf beef 6- rice/fish
Let me know if I'm missing anymore key stats...

I have a few questions..

First from the sounds of my stats, does it sound like I am a good candidate for an AAS. What I mean is, old enough? Experienced enough? Dialed in enough?
If yes, then does the cycle I mentioned best fit a first timer?
What dose/cycle length would you recommend?
What sides can I expect, and how do I combat them?
One of my biggest concerns is how will I be affected on an emotional level?
Will this ruin my sexual hormones, even with a proper pct?
What is recommended for pct?

Old enough, sure.
Experienced, most likely. 5yrs of consistency should be a solid foundation (obviously more is better)
Dialed in, this is totally impossible to tell. Have you been progressing? How fast? What is your goal (fat loss, recomp, bulk, etc?) and how much?

If yes, then does the cycle I mentioned best fit a first timer?
This is the go-to cycle for a 1st timer for sure.

What dose/cycle length would you recommend?
As you said above, 500/wk of straight test is solid.

What sides can I expect, and how do I combat them?
Honestly, you should know this, but for the sake of being helpful - on cycle: aromatization (high test-estrogen conversion), high bp, higher than normal organ values (possible). post cycle - ED, low t (never recovering), estrogen issues (high or low), gyno. All of these are potentials. Most people will only see some or few of them at worst on a simple cycle but its best to be safe.Make sure you have your PCT (SERM+) and ancillaries AHEAD of starting your cycle.

One of my biggest concerns is how will I be affected on an emotional level?
Totally user-dependent. Some people see huge increases in aggression and "alpha" feelings on cycle and need to be far more cognizant of their situations and reactions, others nothing. PCT can be a whirlwind tho and again totally unique to each person. Some feel great, some get awful bouts of lethargy, depression, etc.

Will this ruin my sexual hormones, even with a proper pct?
There is ALWAYS a chance. Likely (assuming proper pct)?- no. Possible? 100%

What is recommended for pct?
Again, you should know this already but: SERM of choice (nolva/clomid are the ususals) + AI of choice (adex/aromasin) + natty test booster/anabolics/etc as funds allow. Good choices for natty stuff can include CEL M-test (booster), SNS Xgels (anabolic), bulk DAA (can boost low test), Bulk bulbine, etc.

I have been progressing. Hard to describe in words how fast. I'm sure I could grow more naturally but I would like to speed things up a bit all depending on the risk factor. Goals will be to lean bulk. I'm not sure I can answer how much because I'm not sure what is realistic for muscle gain. I don't want to put on a ton of "water weight" and then just lose it all when coming off.

I'm sure you can find plenty of logs for this exact cycle that will give you much more detail into each person's reactions and sides. Just do some searching and you will find plenty.

As far as gains and such, as long as you keep your diet in check, you will see plenty. 10lb of lean mass in a 12 week cycle is not at all unrealistic with a good caloric surplus and hard training. You will have some level of water gain, but test alone isnt a crazy wet compound so it wont be like say dbol where you might gain 20lb and keep 7.

you should post up your proposed cycle (doses and lengths) and pct layout for people to review and critque:
