NEW FAVORITE DESSERT!

Brodus

Banned
Okay-->It's simple, easy to clean up, tastes GREAT, and fits just about any diet. In fact, maybe you guys already do this, but, here goes-->my new favorite bedtime snack:

Approx. 2 cups of LowFat or NonFat Cottage Cheese
One to Two scoops of ON Pro Complex, choclate

THAT'S IT.

Practically fat free, and full of whey, milk, and egg protein. It tastes like chocolate pudding.

ROCK ON!

Dam that sounds good Brodus..I need a break from the peanut butter but i love it so much...

I mix the chocolate ON in cereals like Cheerios, Kashi or even plain oatmeal. It's like getting to Cocoa Puffs again.

Bioman, I started doing that too!

Wojo, what I do is just make a shake with skim milk and then pour it on the high-fiber cereal of choice. Tastes great, high protein.

PB + cottage cheese is the best dessert ever, i tried CC + whey once, but found the whey to be too dry, maybe im doing something wrong! (probly not enough CC)

anyway, as for oats + whey, i like to nuke the oats, i like them thick(good amount of water, nuke for 3-4mins-stir and let sit for a min or so) then add chopped banana and a scoop of whey, mix it in good, here is the end result...

this actually tastes alot better than it looks :)
when nuking the oats i use half milk and half water, i find nuking them this way takes longer, but makes the oats thicker and tastier.

But yeah this is really good, sometimes i chop up some strawberries and throw them in there as well with the bananas.

maybe this is just my weird taste buds, but i find strawberries to be too bitter, they arent as sweet or tasty as banana/pear/apples or oranges, i reckon it ruins the flavor

while i do enjoy a good strawberry (they better be good!) i dont like adding them to oats

I posted this once before but here it is again:

Recipe for the pudding:
1 box low carb powder choc. pudding
3 scoops choc protein powder
2 tblspoon peanut butter
2 cups cold skim milk (may need more if not mixing)

Pudding(1 39gram pack): Cal.=140, Pro.= 0g, Carbs= 32g, Fat=0
Prot. Pwd(3 scoops): Cal.=300, Pro.=54g, Carbs=12g, Fat=5g
Skim Milk(2 cups): Cal.=180, Pro.=18g, Carbs=26g, Fat=0
Peanut Butter Natural( 2Tbsp):Cal.=200, Pro.= 9g, Carbs=12g, Fat=12g

Total Mixture: Cal.=820, Pro= 81g, Carbs:82g, Fat=17g

Blend and put in fridge. No heat needed. You can also increase the protein powder and decrease the peanut butter. There are manner changes you can make to have a good snack. :)

Ive been having cc, choc whey, and natty pb for about 1 1/2 years religiously...I cant stop

I each an oats/whey/cottage cheese mixture myself, but I like to prepare my oats a little differently. I boil water in an electric kettle, and stir some into dry oats. I find that in the time that it takes the oats to soak up the water, they are prepared nicely. This leaves the oats firmer than microwaving does, instead of a sloppy porridge type of concoction, which I find more agreeable to eat.

I put oats into egg whites and cook it into patties. Then sprinkle Splenda, cinnamon and pour S/F syrup on top...mmmmmm.....just like french toast.
