Not having to digest ProSynthesis-17 (and aminos, in general) is a massive advantage for anyone who doesn't want to eat whole food/protein powders. EAAs move straight from the stomach to the small intestine in just minutes--almost as quickly as water. They require literally ZERO digestion. They just need to be absorbed...and that is a passive process.Well it won’t be “fasted”, but yes this is definitely what we need for our demographic of early morning workouts. I have gotten to the point where I just don’t consume protein before training when it’s first thing. I don’t have interest in eating meat/eggs and get too bloated from any whey. I mean I could get it down but it just negatively impacts how I feel, and training for strength primarily it just makes more sense to feel optimal. So it’s Cliffbars, Rice Krispies, and salt basically. Then EAAs during and whey+collagen postWO. This is not optimal for hypertrophy, but it lets me have good training.
The benefits of not having to digest something are numerous. This means no gas, no bloating, no impairment of blood flow to working muscles, no impairment of cognitive function, no fatigue or lethargy, no interference with sleep (and the important biological processes that accompany it), no digestive stress (i.e., the digestive system gets a break), no toxic metabolites (unlike food/protein powders), no fecal matter-induced autotoxicity, no damage to the gut microbiome, and no need to take a dump (100% absorption means there is nothing to be eliminated).
EAAs also make eating your meals easier because your digestive tracts isn't already filled with food. This is a big benefit for people who need the EAAs that protein foods provide, but struggle to eat all the food they need to get those EAAs.
