Are you folks talking about Neuro-Balance, the so called.... "anti-depressant?
If this is the product in wich you are refering to, then just supplement L-tyrosine to get the same results.
The.... ONLY.... difference between this product and L-tyrosine, is improved absorbtion.
They attached an ester to L-tyrosine to increase absorbtion rates, but that doesn't matter much seeing how very few people suffer from L-tyrosine deficiency. Oh yeah. They also included Pyridoxal 5'Phosphate, but this is just a form of B-6.
Also known as beta-alanine, sufficient amounts of the essential amino acid L-tyrosine, are found in the body, and are principally synthesized from L-phenylalanine.
It seems as though the marketing strategy behind the product is that of an anti-depressant, due to catecholamine deficiencies associated with depression however, the studies have shown inconclusive results to my knowledge.
Besides, if hardly anyone is deficient in L-tyrosine, and Neuro-Balance's claim is that it will help elevate catecholamine neurotransmitters in the brain, than all we need to achieve the same results would be minimal L-tyrosine supplementation.
