Not really sure where to put this so I’ll just drop it here under “TRT” lol. Anyone have their ears ring after strenuous exercise? Lasts about 5 minutes.
Me and my wife were going at it like crazy and I had my heart going like crazy and noticed it afterwards. Going to donate tomorrow as I hear high RBC can cause this. I’ve had pressure in the head and face randomly through the day for a little while too. I’ve literally had to stop chewing food to take a deep breath through my mouth lol. I noticed on cialis my breaths feel much deeper and full though so idk. Guessing donating is the way to go here.

I wouldn’t if you’ve read any of Crolifter’s threads.
What you’ve got is super common on many drugs, when you’re bulking, when you’re not doing enough cardio.
If you’re going to get rid of a pint, be damn sure you are over 54% hematocrit and at least hemoglobin and/or Iron - RDW - and a few others are elevated too. 18oz of blood is a lot if you are still in range. I’d rather have shortness of breath than low Iron all day long.
Oh also, pde5 inhibitors will have your heart beating out of your chest when you bust.
Labs first my friend.

HCT was around 50 and HGB 17.8. RBC was 5.97m if I remember right. I’m no longer bulking, doing a lot of cardio as it is which is getting easier. I usually like to donate regardless because I have a rare blood type that is in need most of the time but I still try to wait it out until I need to let some go. I’ll also be starting winny in a month and a half, maybe two or so tbh so I wanna let blood closer to that if possible. Buddy gave me some for free haha so I guess the winny or var debate is over for now 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It’s important to note the #1 reason for increased hematocrit is mild dehydration. And it will massively throw you off on the actual day of labs if you aren’t hydrated. This is why it varies all the time. If only we were taking drugs with nutrient partitioning capable of pulling large amounts of water into the muscle throwing off our h@h? - sarcasm.
#2 is nicotine, primarily smoking.

I would work on the fluid part of this and try other measures long before doing any bloodletting. At 54 I may take action but just throwing this out there.
I was 52.7 and took 6fl oz twice in a month and hydrated and mine went below 47.5. So a pint is really gonna knock yours down a bit. I’d prefer to need it before doing that.

Sounds to me like you need to take 10 mg of Cialis every morning for blood pressure and get a decent blood pressure cuff from the pharmacy and keep an eye on numbers on and off Cialis, right before taking Cialis an hour after and 12 hours after. It has a 36-hour half life so after you're on it for about four or five days your blood pressure should drop a good 10 to 20 points depending on dosage and genetics. I doubt donating blood is going to help at all and you'll just crash your ferritin levels which can lead to all kinds of other crappiness that you don't want like brain fog and other mineral imbalances and deficiencies

This!!! I fkn love ya bro. Always take the words out of my head and usually beat me to the thread as this has now become my hone away from home unfortunately. Still got luv for u n mathb33 and HGP. (So glad to hear is doing ok! )

Get that 1-1.5 gallon a day for a solid 8 days and see how you feel oj day 8 and literally keep a log of any changes you make, make then one at a time and be consistent. Keep one of those mini comp books/spirals in your pocket w a pen and write down when you feel crappy and how exactly and test bp if you can. Keep track of water intake, salt (dont skimp!!! You need* a good amt!), and fruits and veggies along w carb sources and shyt food.
Then you should have a much better picture of what is actually messing with you.
Also, im going to guess you are d3 and magnesium deficient. So another thing to possibly try is taking 300mg of magnesium a day ("oxi-mag" if possible) and see if that helps at all. Mag/copper/zinc all work together so if you are low on one then the other two wont be abel to be processed or absorbed bc of how it all works. (And 5k IU of d3/day never hurt anyone. And i frikin love zinc for mens health but thats me. Enough rambling. But its amazing what can happen when micros get in the sweet spot, esp an important few.)

What do you think this is? The body getting bigger and the cardiovascular system not keeping up with the increased demand?

I’ve gotten all of the symptoms OP mentioned. Just finished my first year on TRT, and spent the whole time in bulk mode not doing any cardio. I thought HCT was high and I would need to donate, but it’s at 46%. My blood pressure is border line high though.

I have done a cycle, 12 weeks of test at 500mg per week and cruised on 125mg for another 10 weeks.
I am experiencing shortness of breath (i am fine when i am laying on my back but as soon as i turn on my side or start walking etc. i am out of breath and feel very fatigued) and my heart beats irregularly (showing up on blood pressure monitors). It could be unrelated of course.
The problem is that doctors cant find anything morphologically wrong with my heart.
I keep pushing them to consider some kind of infection, myocarditis etc. but they are like "we are going to check it down the road".

Well you phuks, my life and all my projects are suffering because i dont have energy and feel short of breath all the time yet you keep postponing the investigation. I cant describe how pissed i am.

And i havent gained a lot of weight. I am maybe 8-10lbs heavier now thatn i was 6 months ago, before i started my cycle.

Kind of. Getting oxygen to tissues that have 20 more lbs added to them.
I’m always short of breath on a sloppy bulk.
But I still get labs to make sure I’m not gonna have a damn stroke.

Hemoglobin 178 (ref 135 - 175)
Hematocrit 0.51 (ref 0.415 - 0.53)
RBC count 6.00 (ref 4.34 - 5.72)

Is this a case for concern in your opinion?

No, it’s like you’re not even on anything.
Healthy as a horse.
Hb and rbc are high for some reason. Hct seems to be fine.

blasting hcg currently, no test.

hematocrit is the most important number. This shows thay for some reason i have a lot of smaller rbc's (rdw is also borderline high).

Btw i have seen bodybuilders with hematocrit close to 60. Dont know what happened later but still...
Also those people who live at very high elevations, thise in Andes or natives in Nepal. I think they all have hematocrits much higher than us.

Seems that hematocirt is not directly correlated to stroke or heart attack risk.
But it could drive LVH and possibly heart failure if too high for too long?
