Need Some Advice

I'm thinking about having a basic hormone test performed (through privatemdlabs as discussed in the anabolics forum). However, I'm a little unsure as to whether my situation warrants it being done. A little about me: For the last few years I've had memory issues (including forgetting childhood events, names, directions, etc.), bad brain fog, rapid mood swings and major social anxiety. I've also had occassional issues with depression. I've talked to multiple doctors over the years but they all just feel I need to be put on an SSRI to help with my anxiety. I've tried that (multiple SSRI types over the years) and all they do is make me sleepy and my brain fog worse. I've also tried multiple nootropics and while they seem to help some, nothing comes close to completely fixing the issue. My most recent visit to the doctor ended with him just running CBC and TSH (1.55). He felt all my results were within range and recommended I just take the Zoloft he prescribed during my initial visit (which I did for about 6 months). I talked to my doctor over the weekend about whether it might be worth me getting my hormone levels tested and he felt it wasn't needed. So, that leads me back to my original question - based on my issues, is it worth having my hormone levels tested independently? I don't have a reduction in libido or anything (which I assume is one of the main indicators of low T). It just seems strange that every doctor I've seen just recommends a SSRI but they never help. Thoughts?
