Need some advice

Hello I started a new program and do uppers except shoulders on one day and lower body including shoulders. Uppers on monday lowers on Tuesday and uppers Thursday and lowers Friday. Would this help me add more lean muscle. Ps:wrestling starting in three weeks
 
Sounds like a good program. I don't see anything wrong with it, Except the whole uppers thing. With that I'm a little confused. Are u doing all uppers in one day? I know u said no shoulders but that still leaves chest,back,bis and tris. Which I think is a whole lot to do in one workout. Also, nutrition is more than half the battle.

I do 6 sets of chest 6 sets triceps 4 sets biceps 4 sets back 6 sets traps

6 sets quads/hams 3 sets calf 6 sets shoulders.

I do this and workout less but more frequently to target each muscle more. The uppers monday Thursday. Lowers Tuesday and Friday
 
That sounds good. Seems like ur on point. I've always believed in one body part a week but since ur crunched for time. (3 weeks). Seems like a good routine for that situation.

I remember wrestling back in my high school years. What part of the season are you in? This is critical because you do not want to be put in the category of over training. I know how wrestling is a demanding sport on the body. Be sure to get those proper macro nutrients: fats, proteins,and carbohdyrates. Do not forget a to get a multi vitamin especiallly since you are sweating a lot.

My question to you jaff: what are you trying to train for? wrestling to get stronger and more powerful? or to be toned?

I want to get stronger and powerful basically buff
