It doesn't help, but I smoked from 16 to 21 and I put on 45lbs of muscle in that time span. It hurts your cardio and it will kill you so thats why I quit. And I also always felt like a bit of an idiot leaving the gym and lighting up a smoke. But it won't stop you from putting on muscle despite what some people will tell you.
