Need help building my own forum

Hey guys- I am looking to make my own website forum with a format similiar to this one. I have no idea where to start and know very little about hosting a website and/or where to turn from here. I want something nice and want it done right...not looking for a freebie.

Can anybody help me out?
 
will it be a BB forum? There are so many. I did however have one, a good one, email me if you want details on what to do and what not to do. I usually know more of the what not to do...

No. Sports Performance will be the main theme, but there will be some other aspects. It won't compete with this site or any other BBing site in anyway.

You might try Draven on Invalid Link Removed, he is pretty tight with forums.
