Need Advice on getting Test Levels Checked

I want to get my test levels checked for possible TRT. Anyone done this before and can give me a run down? I’m on M-Test. AXT, AE, Prime XT right now. I believe M-Test, AE, and AXT are known to increase testosterone. How would I go about going off these and let my test levels go to baseline before getting blood work? I’m wondering how long I would go off these products. Any insights would be appreciated.

I highly recommend www.functionhealth.com. It's way more comprehensive that test, but for $365/year, it gives you 2 panels of 160 different things it tests for, at the beginning and at 6 months. My second blood draw is this Friday.

I'd be happy to send a code and get my referral credit if anyone wants, haha.

If my end goal was TRT.......
(this is for entertainment purposes only of course)

I'd stop talking everything. I'd probably get my labs done privately after a month or 2 just to see where I'm at. If I was high I'd probably leave the idea alone. If I was mid to low range, and wanted TRT, I'd probably intentionally do something to lower it a little bit more. Id wait to make my actual doctor's appointment until I was fairly confident walking through the door if you know what I mean.

If you're not dead set on trt, and you're just looking to find out, I'd probably still stop taking all the supplements and wait about 2 months and then go get my blood work done

I also use Function, on year 2. Before my first draw I stopped everything for about a week (Mtest, and some others) to try to find close to a baseline. Now I just don’t take anything the day of or day before to see how much supplements are helping. But I’m not trying to qualify for TRT. If I was I’d stop everything then get crappy sleep the week before and you’d crash your T.

I'm stopping all supps 3 days before for my second test as well, to get a solid baseline, but next time I'd like to stay on all health stuff like a multi and fish oil, the stuff I take habitually, to see what that's doing.

My test was 1013 or something on my first session, and I'm 51 no trt, so I'm really, really curious to see if that was some magical fluke, or my norm haha.

Good timing, I also was debating on making a post like this today. I've never got a full blood panel done. At 31 , I'd love to see where I'm at... But I have no idea what websites are best or reliable.

Those are insane levels, especially at 51. I’d be curious to see what a repeat yields.

I was the same. At 30 I wanted baseline numbers but also was curious about more. I have been using Function for a couple years now and it’s a really good deal and gives so much more info than other services. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Unfortunately I'm just in rural ass South Dakota and there is no labcorp or quest within 200 square miles of me

I haven't tried it before but would be interesting to hear how someone's experience with Rythm Health is if anyone has tried it. They ship you a kit you provide a sample and ship back.

Tbh they actually popped into my Facebook feed earlier today. Reviews are scarce but people on reddit are saying stay away. But people on reddit are also usually a few cards short of a full deck.

In Sioux Falls Sanford has a walk in clinic you can pick out what bloodwork you want or they have different panels you can pick. I picked the men’s health think around 100 bucks or so

Not ideal but at least a option
