Need a new workout routine

Hey guys i have been lifting for the last 4 years and other than mixing exercise types every month or so, i havent changed my routine. I do chest/tri 4x8-12
Back/Bi 4x8-12
Shoulders4x8-12
Legs 4x8-12

I have heard mixed reviews on the 5x5 workout and was wondering what peoples thoughts were for a new routine. More concerned with gaining mass than looking cut right now. All help is appreciated.

Here is my recommendation:
Monday: Chest
Tuesday: Upper Back
Wed: Biceps
Thursday: Shoulders / Triceps
Friday: Legs
Saturday: Deadlifts

or a more condensed version:
Monday: Chest + Biceps
Tuesday: Back
Wed: Rest
Thursday: shoulder / triceps
Friday: Legs

This is very similar to what Dorian Yates did.
 
If you are looking for hypertrophy (gaining mass) I would suggest more TUT ( time under tension ) look up some DC training.


Dorian Yates also did a **** ton of drugs ... just sayin :)
 
DC training would be a good option, but right now i dont have a spotting partner so i cant max out on anything
