NCAA Football 2008 Spread begins 9/1/2007

Who died and made you Size, IW?

Next time you attempt a takeover, at least make it a pro purty one, that formatting was a unholy abomination of tard texting.

I think you should be penalized at least 5 points for that personal foul, turdmonger. :fart:

That was only my third mistake of the day. I'm allowed 3 a day :D I am pathetic with technology. I'll let the big boys handle this challenging task LOL.

WAR F'ING EAGLE!!!!

Calm down on ole boy IW. He's a Niners fan.
And high after the win over Oregon by the hippy Bears.

BTW - loved, just LOVED, seeing that freshman beat Urban twice. My mom was at the game - said it was just hilarious seeing the (former) arrogant Gate fans who thought they'd beat the hell out of Tubbs' after the game. Plenty of moping and crying.
I loved it. :head:

He gets nightmares when he sees my avatar so I understand :D

I'm also picking Purdue at -7 vs. THE Ohio State University

WAR F'ING EAGLE!!!! :woohoo:

I was sent a little Icing for my Saturday Night Cake, a bit long in the build up, but the ending's great, watching Charley the Gates Fan - "You're Fired Meyer, You're ****ing Fired!!! :icon_lol:

As far as Avatars, I don't see any, I block all extra graphics in my Firefox, too much visual noise.

rookie mistake... never pick against the buckeyes!

there are a lot of good options this week with smaller points but i wanna pick a game that will have me climd in the rankings assuming everyone else loses (IW has no shot). im debating between oklahoma state +6.5 or florida +8.5.

hmm... well, i wont allow myself to pick the gators so im going with the cowboys +6.5 over the aggies.

I've debated Oklahoma State but I'm a gambling man with a gambling mind ;)

Looks like RD, size, and I were the only winners. (Though it is really late and south LA is a war zone tonight after LSU won....)

And I think I'm either tied or ahead by a half point over RD.

That sounds like something Lloyd Carr would say, simplistic and blaming his players.

Enjoy your 1/2 point lead while I lasts, jmh, won't be too many more 20 point jump opportunities to regain lost ground on, but in this season?, that statement could be as flat wrong as Kris thinking he'll win out, not gonna happen.

Of course I wont be able to catch up and win. Why that would just be impossible--like UNC beating the almighty Canes or USC getting beat by Stanford or USF being ranked higher than any other Florida team :toofunny:

Gotta love coaches who think football is played the way it was before they had gray hair. If you do what you've always done then you'll get what you've always been getting. I can't remember the last time FSU finished the season in the top 10. Their offense is so predictable it's not even funny anymore. A simplistic approach will work when have a ton more talent then your opponents but that's not the case anymore.

I'm taking Wisconsin +6.5 at Penn St. this week

Where's the spread from this weeks games to pick from?

Just posted above.

To others, quit picking games before the lines have been posted. It is much easier to do if we are all working form the same lines and early lines shift by Wed and then shift again on Dr. Bob releases so I take a middle weekday to grab them.

I'll take Louisville as well.

This town is going crazy right now. The game is sold out (30k), it's homecoming, and the talk shows are lit-up with people hating on anything Ohio State in Cinci. They have been crying about having TBDBITL play at Reds or Bengal games, or playing Hang On Sloopy at halftime of Bengal games, and playing OSU games on the big screen downtown. All of these fairweather idiots are comeing out of the woodwork after-the-fact, and it makes me smile very smugly because all of these pipedreams will be washed away before they even know what the UC fight song is.

Great call! Meant to pick that myself - but forgot and then got called into work today for about 4 hrs - got out right before UM-FSU started.

Go Canes!

I like what Shannon is doing with that team and FSU is overrated as always. In a few years the U will be back where they used to be.
