Natural hormone levels and TRT

I just wanted to open a discussion about natural hormones and trt.

When does the inevitable hormonal decline typically occur in men, or more specifically, when did you realize you may need trt?

Conversely, when do you think a man hits his peak in terms of natural production of testosterone?

Does anybody on this forum who’s prescribed testosterone by their doctor also get hgh through prescription? Is it harder to get prescribed hgh or is it just too expensive even when it is prescribed?

How has trt changed your life?

Personally, I’m 25 years old and I believe I’m currently in that peak and I hope I stay here for a while before it begins to drop. A lot of you guys on here do a great job of reminding the people around my age how lucky we are to have the test levels that many men have to pay good money for. I’m in agreement with those who think you should take advantage of your natural hormones at this age, and if your gonna use anabolics then you gotta ease into it. It’s probably best to save intense cycles for later.

Anyway, feel free to answer whatever questions you want, even if your not on trt. I ask these questions because I’ll likely want to get on it years down the road. It seems like the sensible thing to do.

Too many variables. Heavy drinkers and opiate abusers can need it early. Antidepressants can lower test. Is some of this reversible? Absolutely... I was on methadone, suboxone, Wellbutrin and 1/5 vodka drinker a day at 31... Hot mess. After my first year 100% sober, I had a natty test of almost 900! In my 30s! So naturally, instead of taking advantage of this for 10 more years, I cycled steroids from 33-37. I can tell you, I used every method available to ensure my recovery. Multiple SERMs, HCG, AIs and natty test boosters galore, during and after every cycle. None of this mattered by 38 years old. My test never came up to even half what it was prior to cycling hormones. After a year of attempting to get my test up using restart protocols and using no hormones whatsoever, I got on TRT. Would I do anything differently? Not a chance. I mean 37-38 sucked. No libido and couldn’t keep an erection to save my life. Cialis daily when you date chicks in their early to mid thirties sucks bad. They think it’s their fault and they’re not hot or sexy enough. Doesn’t matter how well you explain it to them. Plus trying to be a parent, clean, cook, spend time with your woman, go to work. I did all of that at 50% of what I’m capable of doing. No energy ever unless I was pounding caffeine. Wanting to go to bed at 9pm when your gf wants to bang and stay up late with you. Not to mention cowering and avoiding any confrontation; because you have zero aggression or confidence. At 35-40, you should still have the hormones of a 35-40 year old. I had that of a 70 year old. And I will tell you, I WILL DIE before I ever go back to that. Who I am on TRT is exactly who I want to be. Strong, confident, fug like a champion, endless energy, a winner. My life is 1000x better. So, yes, it’s great and I wouldn’t change a thing, even though the reason I’m on TRT before 40 is 100% my own doing...
